Abstract

Abad 21 saat ini ditandai dengan meningkatnya perkembangan sains dan teknologi, dan dalam upaya meningkatkan kompetensi tidak jarang sekolah-sekolah saling berlomba untuk unggul dalam prestasi akademik dan non akademik untuk, begitu pun yang terjadi di SDN 016 Dr. Cipto Pajajaran. Terdapat siswa meraih juara dalam olimpiade IPA tingkat kota. Fenomena inilah yang akan diteliti dengan tujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana literasi sains siswa berprestasi fase B di SDN 016 Dr. Cipto Pajajaran dan faktor apa yang mempengaruhi literasi sains siswa tersebut. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif fenomenologi. Subjek penelitian ini meliputi siswa berprestasi, guru mata pelajaran IPA, dan orangtua siswa. Melalui teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, dihasilkan data yang kemudian dikumpulkan dan dianalisis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa literasi sains siswa sudah dimiliki oleh subjek dan mampu menghubungkan konsep IPA dengan kehidupan sehari-hari, tidak semua aspek literasi sains sudah dimiliki oleh siswa tersebut, melainkan pada aspek menafsirkan data ilmiah dan merencakan penyelidikan yang masih memerlukan bimbingan serta arahan dari guru atau orangtua. Faktor yang mempengaruhi literasi sains siswa meliputi faktor minat dan motivasi yang muncul dalam diri siswa, faktor lingkungan sekolah yang mencakup sistem belajar dan fasilitas sekolah, serta faktor lingkungan keluarga yang mencakup bimbingan langsung dari orangtua dan jadwal kegiatan di rumah yang teratur. Dari ketiga faktor tersebut, faktor minat dan motivasi serta faktor keluarga lah yang lebih esensial mempengaruhi literasi sains siswa. Kata Kunci: literasi sains, siswa berprestasi. The 21st century is currently marked by the increasing development of science and technology, and in an effort to increase competence it is not uncommon for schools to compete with each other to excel in academic and non-academic achievements, as is what happened at SDN 016 Dr. Cipto Pajajaran. There are students who win championships in city-level science olympiads. This phenomenon will be researched with the aim of analyzing how the scientific literacy of phase B achieving students at SDN 016 Dr. Cipto Pajajaran and what influences students' scientific literacy. The research method used is a qualitative phenomenological approach. The subjects of this research included outstanding students, science subject teachers, and students' parents. Through interview, observation and documentation techniques, data is produced which is then collected and analyzed. Based on the research results, it was found that the subject already possessed scientific literacy and was able to connect science concepts with everyday life. Not all aspects of scientific literacy were possessed by the students, but in the aspects of interpreting scientific data and planning investigations that still required guidance and direction. from teachers or parents. Factors that influence students' scientific literacy include interest and motivation factors that arise within students, school environmental factors which include the learning system and school facilities, as well as family environmental factors which include direct guidance from parents and a regular schedule of activities at home. Of these three factors, interest and motivation factors and family factors are more essential in influencing students' scientific literacy. Keywords: scientific literacy, outstanding students
