Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul pendidikan karakter disiplin berlalu lintas melalui pembelajaran kreasi musik bagi siswa SMA. Latar belakang penelitian yaitu tingginya angka kecelakaan lalu lintas di kalangan remaja akibat kurangnya disiplin berlalu lintas, sehingga perlu adanya upaya menumbuhkan kesadaran dan karakter yang baik dalam kegiatan berlalu lintas, yang dimulai dari lingkungan sekolah. Masalah penelitian berfokus pada desain, proses dan dampak pembelajaran kreasi musik terhadap disiplin berlalu lintas dan musikalitas siswa SMAN 1 Ciamis. Desain penelitian menggunakan konvergen paralel melalui pendekatan campuran dengan dua fase secara bersamaan yakni data kuantitatif untuk mengukur efektivitas desain, evaluasi pembelajaran dan dampak pembelajaran kreasi musik, serta data kualitatif untuk mendeskripsikan hasil observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan efektivitas pada desain pembelajaran kreasi musik menggunakan model sinektik dalam 3 fase antara lain: 1) pengenalan analogi, mencakup pengamatan bunyi lalu lintas dan produksi warna bunyi lalu lintas; 2) pengembangan analogi, mencakup pemahaman unsur dasar musik dan proses bunyi lalu lintas dalam konteks musik; 3) penerapan analogi, mencakup eksplorasi unsur-unsur musik dan penyajian karya komposisi musik. Proses pembelajaran mencapai tujuan pembelajaran yang meliputi aspek pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan. Dampak pembelajaran kreasi musik mencakup peningkatan pengetahuan, toleransi dan sikap disiplin berlalu lintas serta peningkatan kemampuan musikal siswa. Hasil penelitian efektif dalam membantu siswa memahami pentingnya disiplin berlalu lintas, khususnya pemahaman terhadap fungsi bunyi sebagai isyarat dalam kegiatan berlalu lintas serta meningkatkan kemampuan musikal siswa khususnya pemahaman terhadap unsur-unsur musik. Penelitian ini diharapkan berkontribusi dalam inovasi pengembangan model pendidikan karakter, khususnya dalam konteks disiplin berlalu lintas bagi remaja. This research is titled character education for traffic discipline through music creation learning for high school students. The research background is the high number of traffic accidents among teenagers due to lack of traffic discipline, necessitating efforts to foster awareness and good character in traffic activities, starting from the school environment. The research problem focuses on the design, process, and impact of music creation learning on traffic discipline and musicality of students at SMAN 1 Ciamis. The research design uses parallel convergence through a mixed approach with two simultaneous phases: quantitative data to measure the effectiveness of the design, learning evaluation, and impact of music creation learning, as well as qualitative data to describe the results of observations, interviews, and documentation studies. Research findings show effectiveness in the music creation learning design using a synectic model in 3 phases including: 1) introduction of analogy, covering observation of traffic sounds and production of traffic sound colors; 2) development of analogy, covering understanding of basic music elements and traffic sound processes in a musical context; 3) application of analogy, covering exploration of musical elements and presentation of musical composition works. The learning process achieves learning objectives covering aspects of knowledge, attitudes, and skills. The impact of music creation learning includes increased knowledge, tolerance, and attitude towards traffic discipline as well as improved musical abilities of students. The research results are effective in helping students understand the importance of traffic discipline, particularly understanding the function of sound as a signal in traffic activities and improving students' musical abilities, especially understanding of musical elements. This research is expected to contribute to innovation in character education model development, particularly in the context of traffic discipline for teenagers.
