Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya dan pentingnya kemampuan kerja sama dan kognitif peserta didik SMA kelas X di salah satu SMA di kota Bandung khususnya pada pelajaran fisika. Kemampuan kognitif dan kerja sama peserta didik merupakan suatu hal yang penting karena memiliki pengaruh yang besar pada proses pembelajaran, menentukan hasil belajar peserta didik, dan kepentingan bermasyarakat di masa depan. Pada model Teams Games Tournament (TGT), peserta didik dituntut untuk dapat terlibat aktif dalam kepemimpinan, pemecahan masalah, pengendalian dan prosedur, berpikir kritis dan kreatif, membuat keputusan, dan lain sebagainya. Model TGT merupakan salah satu model pembelajaran kooperatif yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kerja sama dan kognitif peserta didik khususnya pada materi pemanasan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang hasil penerapan model TGT terhadap kemampuan kerja sama dan kognitif peserta didik, keterlaksanaan model, serta hubungan antara kemampuan kerja sama dan kognitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan one group pretest-posttest design dalam mengukur kemampuan kognitif dan dilakukan pengambilan data tiap pertemuan dalam mengukur kemampuan kerja sama. Subjek penelitian ini meliputi 29 orang peserta didik SMA kelas X. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes kemampuan kognitif dalam bentuk esai, lembar penilaian diri, lembar observasi kelompok, dan lembar observasi peserta didik, dan lembar keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran. Teknik analisis yang digunakan pada penelitian ini meliputi statistik deskriptif, perhitungan N-Gain, uji hipotesis, persentase skala penilaian indikator, analisis profil cluster, uji korelasi, dan persentase keterlaksanaan model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran TGT dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif dalam aspek C2, C3, dan C4 sebesar 0,43 dengan kategori sedang, menghasilkan tiga cluster peserta didik dalam kemampuan kerja sama, yaitu 1) kemampuan tinggi, 2) kemampuan sedang, dan 3) kemampuan rendah, secara keseluruhan kemampuan kerja sama peserta didik termasuk tinggi, tidak ada hubungan antara kerja sama dan kognitif peserta didik, dan keterlaksanaan model pembelajaran sangat baik dengan persentase nilai rata rata 92% berdasarkan pertemuan dan 97% berdasarkan sintak. ; This study is motivated by the low and the importance of cooperation and cognitive abilities of high school students in class X in one of the high schools in the city of Bandung, especially in physics lessons. Cognitive abilities and cooperation of students are important because they have a great influence on the learning process, determine student learning outcomes, and future social interests. In the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model, students are required to be actively involved in leadership, problem solving, control and procedures, critical and creative thinking, making decisions, and so on. The TGT model is one of the cooperative learning models that can improve the cooperation and cognitive abilities of students, especially on global warming material. This study aims to provide an overview of the results of the application of the TGT model on the cooperation and cognitive abilities of students, the implementation of the model, and the relationship between cooperation and cognitive abilities. This study used a one group pretest-posttest design in measuring cognitive abilities and data collection was carried out at each meeting in measuring cooperation skills. The subjects of this study included 29 X grade high school students. The instruments used were cognitive ability tests in the form of essays, self-assessment sheets, group observation sheets, and student observation sheets, and learning model implementation sheets. The analysis techniques used in this study include descriptive statistics, N-Gain calculation, hypothesis testing, percentage of indicator rating scale, cluster profile analysis, correlation test, and percentage of model implementation. The results showed that the TGT learning model can improve cognitive abilities in aspects of C2, C3, and C4 by 0.43 with a moderate category, producing three clusters of students in the ability to cooperate, namely 1) high ability, 2) medium ability, and 3) low ability, overall the ability of student cooperation is high, there is no relationship between cooperation and cognitive learners, and the implementation of the learning model is very good with an average percentage value of 92% based on meetings and 97% based on syntax.
