Abstract
ABSTRAK Suriadi Ardiansyah (2107028). Pengembangan e-book IPS Berbasis Kearifan Lokal Nggusu Waru Untuk Mengembangkan Karakter Sosial Emosional Siswa SMP di Kota Bima Nusa Tenggara Barat. Di bawah bimbingan Prof. Dr. Hj. Kokom Komalasari, M.Pd., Prof. Dr. Hj. Enok Maryani, M.S., Dr. Erlina Wiyanarti, M.Pd. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi munculnya Nggusu Waru dalam pembelajaran IPS terhadap pengembangan karakter sosial emosional siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan produk e-book IPS berbasis Nggusu Waru untuk membentuk karakter sosial emosional siswa yang berintegritas. Untuk memajukan dunia pendidikan yang lebih inovatif, unggul dan berkemajuan di Kota Bima. Desain penelitian dalam bentuk e-book IPS yang selaras dengan tahapan penelitian, agar menghasilkan desain penelitian efektif. Metode penelitian menggunkan Research and Development dengan model yang dikembangkan Borg & Gall. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dokumentasi, observasi, wawancara, Focus Group Discussion, angket, tes, dan analisis data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; 1) nilai budaya yang lokal Nggusu Waru sebagai sumber belajar siswa adalah Dou ma dahu di ndai ruma, Dou ma dodo tando tambari kontu, tengi angi labo dou toi, Dou ma sabua nggahi labo rawi dan Dou ma disa kai ma poda, dahu kai ma dapoda, 2) karakteristik model e-book IPS berbasis Nggusu Waru didesain dengan inovatif dan menarik melalui aplikasi FLIPHTML5. Keunggulan e-book IPS berbasis Nggusu Waru adalah interaktif, mudah diakses melalui perangkat elektronik, mengupdate informasi dan mendorong kreatifitas guru. sedangkan kelemahannya; keterbatasan interaksi sosial, aksebilitas, masalah teknik, dan tantangan pembelajaran mandiri, 3) Efektivitas model e-book IPS menjadi sumber belajar terbukti efektif terhadap pembentukan karakter sosial emosional siswa. Simpulan penelitian adalah penggunaan aplikasi e-book dengan mengintegrasikan Nggusu Waru dalam pembelajaran IPS membantu siswa dalam memahami isi materi serta dapat membentuk karakter sosial emosional siswa yang berintegritas. Produk e-book IPS ini dapat dijadikan landasan mendesain model pembelajaran IPS yang sesuai perkembangan sains dan teknologi di abad 21. Development of Social Studies e-book Based on Nggusu Waru Local Wisdom to Develop the Social Emotional Character of Junior High School Students in Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara. Under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Hj. Kokom Komalasari, M.Pd., Prof. Dr. Hj. Enok Maryani, M.S., Dr. Erlina Wiyanarti, M.Pd. This research is motivated by the emergence of Nggusu Waru in social studies learning on the development of students' social-emotional character. This research aims to produce social studies e-book products based on Nggusu Waru to form the social emotional character of students with integrity. To advance the world of education that is more innovative, superior and progressive in Bima City. The research design is in the form of a social studies e-book that is in line with the research stages, in order to produce an effective research design. The research method uses Research and Development with a model developed by Borg & Gall. Data collection techniques are documentation, observation, interviews, Focus Group Discussions, questionnaires, tests, and data analysis. The results of the study showed; 1) the local cultural values of Nggusu Waru as a source of student learning are Dou ma dahu di ndai ruma, Dou ma dodo tando tambari kontu, tengi angi labo dou toi, Dou ma sabua nggahi labo rawi and Dou ma disa kai ma poda, dahu kai ma dapoda, 2) the characteristics of the IPS e-book model based on Nggusu Waru are designed innovatively and attractively through FLIPHTML5 application. The advantages of social studies e-books based on Nggusu Waru are interactive, easily accessible through electronic devices, updating information and encouraging teachers' creativity. Meanwhile, the weaknesses; limitations of social interaction, accessibility, engineering problems, and challenges of independent learning, 3) The effectiveness of the e-book modelSocial studies as a learning resource has proven to be effective in shaping students' social-emotional character. The conclusion of the study is that the use of e-book applications by integrating Nggusu Waru in social studies learning helps students understand the content of the material and can form the social-emotional character of students with integrity. This social studies e-book product can be used as a basis for designing a social studies learning model that is in accordance with the development of science and technology in the 21st century.
