Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan kognitif siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal fisika khususnya pada materi pemanasan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai peningkatan kemampuan kognitif siswa dengan menerapkan flipped classroom berbantuan anotasi video Edpuzzle. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi experimental design dengan bentuk non-equivalent control group design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 70 orang yaitu peserta didik kelas X di SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes kemampuan kognitif dalam bentuk esai, dan lembar validitas kelayakan anotasi video pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data menggunakan perhitungan N-Gain dan hasil menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan kognitif termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Kelayakan media pembelajaran anotasi video layak digunakan. Terdapat perbedaan hasil posttest yang dilakukan uji-t dengan perolehan 0,001 < 0,05 menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini penerapan flipped classroom berbantuan anotasi video Edpuzzle dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif peserta didik pada materi pemanasan global. This research is motivated by the low cognitive abilities students possess in solving physics problems, especially regarding global warming materials. The research aims to obtain an overview of improving students' cognitive abilities by implementing the flipped classroom strategy assisted by Edpuzzle video annotations. The method used is a quasi-experimental design in the form of a Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sample in this research consisted of 70 people, namely class X students at State High Schools in Bandung City. The instruments used were cognitive ability tests in the form of essays, the eligibility of video annotation learning media, and observation sheets for the implementation of the flipped classroom. The data analysis technique uses n-gain and the results show that the increase in cognitive abilities is included in the moderate category. The eligibility of using video annotation learning media. There is a difference in posttest results conducted by t-test with the acquisition of 0.001 < 0.05 indicating a significant difference between experimental and control classes.
