Abstract

Penelitian dilakukan berdasarkan permasalahan yang muncul pada anak kelompok A di TKN Centeh Bandung, yaitu masih rendahnya kemampuan regulasi emosi anak khususnya emosi marah. Pentingnya kemampuan anak dalam mengelola rasa marahnya baik masa sekarang hingga kedepannya, maka diperlukan solusi agar kemampuan regulasi emosi marah anak dapat berkembang. Strategi yang dilakukan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan regulasi emosi marah anak adalah dengan pembelajaran cerita bergambar menggunakan buku cerita “Tucker si Kura-Kura” yang berisi stimulasi teknik kura-kura untuk mengendalikan rasa marah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perkembangan kemampuan regulasi emosi marah anak melalui pembelajaran cerita bergambar, dengan jumlah anak 9 orang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari dua siklus, dan setiap siklus dilaksanakan dua kali tindakan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran cerita bergambar dengan stimulasi teknik kura-kura dapat mengembangkan kemampuan regulasi emosi marah anak. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil observasi sebelum tindakan terdapat 3 anak dengan kemampuan regulasi emosi marah yang rendah dan masih melakukan tindakan agresif serta 2 anak kemampuan regulasi emosi marah yang sedang dan tidak melakukan tindakan agresif. Setelah dilaksanakan kegiatan tersebut terlihat peningkatan yang signifikan yaitu 4 orang anak kemampuan regulasi emosi marahnya berkembang dengan baik dan 1 anak kemampuan regulasi emosi marahnya mulai berkembang. Dengan demikian, pembelajaran cerita bergambar disertai stimulasi teknik kura-kura dapat dijadikan bahan untuk melatih pengembangan kemampuan regulasi emosi dalam diri anak. The research was conducted on the basis of problems that arise in group A children at Kindegarten Centeh Bandung, namely the low ability of children's emotion regulation, especially angry emotions. The importance of children's ability to manage their anger both now and in the future, so a solution is needed so that children's angry emotion regulation skills can develop. The strategy used to develop children's angry emotion regulation ability is by learning picture stories using the storybook "Tucker the Turtle" which contains stimulation of the turtle technique to control anger. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of children's angry emotion regulation skills through picture story learning, with a total of 9 children. The research method used is classroom action research which consists of two cycles, and each cycle is carried out twice. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The analysis technique used was qualitative analysis. The results showed that learning picture stories with turtle technique stimulation can develop children's angry emotion regulation skills. This can be seen from the observation data before the action there were 3 children with low angry emotion regulation abilities and still committed aggressive actions and 2 children with moderate angry emotion regulation abilities and did not commit aggressive actions. After the implementation of picture story learning activities, there was a significant increase, namely 4 children whose angry emotion regulation abilities were well developed and 1 child whose angry emotion regulation abilities began to develop. Thus, learning picture stories by stimulation of turtle techniques can be used as material to train the development of emotional regulation abilities in children.
