Abstract
Penelitian ini berjudul “Upaya Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa SD dalam Aktivitas Akuatik Melalui Implementasi Alat Bantu Belajar”. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui untuk mengetahui motivasi belajar siswa SD dalam aktivitas akuatik melalui implementasi alat bantu belajar. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena kurangnya motivasi belajar aktivitas akuatik karena pasca pandemi Covid-19. Semenjak pandemi itu terjadi, sekolah hanya sekali melaksanakan pembelajaran akuatik, karena kurangnya semangat dan motivasi pada siswa untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran akuatik. Disisi lain pembelajaran yang monoton dan perlengkapan pembelajaran yang kurang memadai menjadi faktor yang membuat motivasi belajar siswa SD dalam aktivitas akuatik menurun. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Dasar kelas IV di salah satu Sekolah Dasar di Kota Bandung. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 44 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket motivasi belajar siswa SD. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok eksperimen medapatkan kategori sangat rendah sebesar 9%, kategori rendah sebesar 9%, kategori sedang 41%, kategori tinggi 32%, kategori sangat tinggi 9%. Sedangkan kelompok kontrol mendapatkan kategori sangat rendah sebesar 14%, kategori rendah sebesar 45%, kategori sedang 27%, kategori tinggi 14%, dan kategori sangat tinggi 0%. Maka dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengimplementasian alat bantu belajar dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa SD dalam aktivitas akuatik. This study is titled "Efforts to Increase Elementary School Students Learning Motivation in Aquatic Activities Through the Implementation of Learning Aids". The purpose of this study is to understand the learning motivation of elementary school students in aquatic activities through the implementation of learning aids. This research is motivated by the lack of motivation for learning aquatic activities post-Covid-19 pandemic. Since the pandemic occurred, the school has only conducted aquatic learning once, due to the lack of enthusiasm and motivation among students to engage in aquatic learning. Additionally, monotonous learning and inadequate learning equipment are factors contributing to the decline in learning motivation for aquatic activities among elementary school students. This study employs an experimental method with a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The population in this study consists of fourth-grade elementary school students in a school in Bandung City. The sample size is 44 students, selected using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study is a questionnaire on elementary students' learning motivation. The results show that the experimental group has 9% in the very low category, 9% in the low category, 41% in the moderate category, 32% in the high category, and 9% in the very high category. Meanwhile, the control group has 14% in the very low category, 45% in the low category, 27% in the moderate category, 14% in the high category, and 0% in the very high category. Therefore, the study concludes that the implementation of learning aids can increase the learning motivation of elementary school students in aquatic activities.
