Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara status identitas vokasional dengan regulasi diri pada mahasiswa anggota UKM di Kampus UPI Bandung. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Mahasiswa UPI Bandung. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, dan jumlah sampel yang diambil adalah 150 orang. Karakteristik sampel yang diambil adalah anggota UKM di Kampus UPI Bandung, usia 18-21 tahun. Dari jumlah seluruh UKM yaitu 65 UKM, peneliti mengambil 10 orang anggota dari setiap UKM. Ada dua skala yang digunakan, yaitu skala status identitas vokasional berjumlah 40 item yang terdiri dari skala status identitas aspek eksplorasi dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,692 berjumlah 16 item dan skala status identitas aspek komitmen dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,875 berjumlah 24 item, serta skala regulasi diri berjumlah 30 item dengan koefisien reliabilitas 0,876. Hasil pengujian statistik dengan teknik Korelasi Koefisien Kontingensi menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang cukup kuat antara status identitas vokasional dengan regulasi diri, sehingga semakin tinggi tingkatan status identitas vokasional yang dimiliki mahasiswa maka semakin tinggi pula regulasi diri pada mahasiswa. Tingkat signifikansi korelasi adalah 0.506 (< 0.05), menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara status identitas vokasional dengan regulasi diri pada mahasiswa anggota UKM di Kampus UPI Bandung sangat signifikan. Rekomendasi penelitian ini untuk para mahasiswa diharapkan agar mempertahankan regulasi dirinya lagi agar menjadi lebih baik lagi untuk menunjang identity achievement yang dimilikinya. Kata kunci: status identitas vokasional, regulasi diri The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between vocational identity status and self regulation of UKM members in UPI Bandung. Populations in this research are students of UPI Bandung. Sampling technique that used was purposive sampling, and the amount of sample taken were 150 peoples. Characteristic of sample taken are UKM members in UPI Bandung aged 18-21 years old. From the total number of 65 UKMs, the researcher took 10 members of each UKM. There are two scales that we used, the vocational identity status scale of 40 items which consisting of exploration aspect identity status scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.692 of total 16 items and commitment aspects identity status scale with a reliability coefficient of 0.875 of total 24 items, and self regulation scale amounted to 30 items with a reliability coefficient 0.876. The statistical test with the Correlation Coefficient of Contingency techniques indicating that there was strong correlation between the status of vocational identity with self-regulation, so more high the level of vocational identity was own by students will be equal with higher self-regulation of students. The significance level of correlation was 0.506 (<0.05), indicating that the relationship between the vocational identity status with self-regulation of the students was join UKM in Campus UPI Bandung are very significant. The recommendations of this research for the students are expected to maintain its regulation in order to be better for support the achievement of its identity.
