Abstract

Pengukuran dapat digunakan untuk mengukur baik yang terlihat maupun tak kasat
mata, seperti kecerdasan. Salah satu alat ukur kecerdasan yang digunakan di Indonesia
adalah Intelligenz Struktur Test (IST). Alat ukur IST ini telah digunakan di Indonesia lebih
dari 20 tahun, sehingga diperlukan evaluasi properti psikometri untuk mengetahui apakah
tes ini masih relevan digunakan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini berfokus kepada satu subtes
saja yaitu Analogien (AN) yang mengukur kemampuan fleksibilitas berpikir dan analisis.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi dokumentasi yang bekerja sama dengan
Laboratorium Bimbingan dan Konseling Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (Lab BK UPI).
Populasi yang digunakan adalah peserta didik di Jawa Barat dan sampel yang digunakan
adalah 22.654 peserta yang melakukan tes dalam kurun waktu 5 tahun terakhir. Hasil
penelitian menunjukkan bahwa subtes AN masih valid dalam mengukur kemampuan
fleksibilitas berpikir dan analisis. Namun, reliabilitas subtes AN termasuk kategori
unaccaptable sehingga diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut menggunakan Item Response
Theory (IRT) untuk perbandingan. Penelitian ini juga mendukung norma baru berdasarkan
usia yang didasarkan pada sampel yang representatif.

Measurement can be used to measure both the visible and invisible, such as
intelligence. One of the intelligence measurement tools used in Indonesia is the
Intelligenz Struktur Test (IST). This IST measuring instrument has been used in
Indonesia for more than 20 years, so an evaluation of psychometric properties is
needed to find out whether this test is still relevant to use in Indonesia. This research
focuses on one subtest, Analogien (AN), which measures flexibility of thinking and
analysis. This research uses a documentation study method in collaboration with
the Guidance and Counseling Laboratory of the Indonesian Education University
(Lab BK UPI). The population used was students in West Java and the sample used
was 22,654 participants who took the test in the last 5 years. The results showed
that the AN subtests were still valid in measuring the ability of flexibility of thinking
and analysis. However, the reliability of the AN subtests is in the unacceptable
category so further research is needed using Item Response Theory (IRT) for
comparison. This study also supports new age-based norms based on a
representative sample.
