Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kebutuhan media pembelajaran hanja berbahasa Indonesia, kekurangan media pembelajaran hanja yang telah diterapkan, dan bentuk media pembelajaran hanja yang diharapkan oleh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Korea UPI. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan hasil yang dijabarkan secara deskriptif. Untuk menganalisis kebutuhan, penulis menggunakan teori Hutchinsons & Waters mengenai kebutuhan target, yaitu necessities, lacks, dan wants. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebarkan angket kepada 33 mahasiswa dan satu dosen mata kuliah hanja Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Korea UPI. Selanjutnya dipilih lima mahasiswa sebagai informan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dan dosen ‘sangat setuju’ jika media pembelajaran hanja berbahasa Indonesia dikembangkan dengan unsur multimodal. Kekurangan media pembelajaran hanja, antara lain sifat komunikasi yang bersifat satu arah serta akses media yang dirasa cukup sulit. Bentuk media pembelajaran hanja yang banyak direkomendasikan, yaitu buku, flashcard, dan video pembelajaran beserta rancangan desain dan silabus dari masing-masing media. Kesimpulannya yaitu, tingkat kebutuhan media pembelajaran hanja berbahasa Indonesia bagi mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Korea UPI sangat tinggi. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pemahaman mengenai tingkat kebutuhan pengembangan media, kekurangan media yang telah diterapkan, dan rekomendasi media pembelajaran hanja berbahasa Indonesia yang dapat dikembangkan untuk pembelajaran kosakata hanja dalam bahasa Korea. This study aims to analyze the needs of hanja learning media for Indonesian, the shortcomings of hanja learning media that have been applied, and the form of hanja learning media expected by students of the UPI Korean Language Education Study Program. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with the results described descriptively. To analyze needs, the author uses Hutchinsons & Waters' theory of target needs, namely necessities, lacks, and wants. The data collection process was carried out by distributing questionnaires to 33 students and one lecturer of hanja course in UPI Korean Language Education Study Program. Furthermore, five students were selected as interview informants. The results showed that students and lecturers 'strongly agree' if Indonesian hanja learning media is developed with multimodal elements. The shortcomings of hanja learning media include the one-way communication and media access which is considered quite difficult. The forms of hanja learning media that are widely recommended, namely books, flashcards, and learning videos along with the designs and syllabus of each media. The conclusion is the level of need for Indonesian language-only learning media for students of the UPI Korean Language Education Study Program is very high. The results of this study are expected to provide an understanding of the level of need for media development, the shortcomings of the media that have been implemented, and recommendations for Indonesian hanja learning media that can be developed for learning hanja vocabulary in Korean. 본 연구는 인도네시아인 학습자를 위한 한자 학습 매체의 필요성, 적용된 한자 학습 매체의 단점, UPI 한국어교육과 재학생이 희망하는 한자 학습 매체의 형태를 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 본 연구에서 사용된 방법은 질적 방법으로 결과를 서술적으로 기술하였다. 요구 분석을 위해 저자는 허친슨과 워터스의 목표 욕구 이론, 즉 필요, 결핍, 욕구 이론을 사용하였다. 자료 수집은 UPI 한국어교육과의 한자 강좌 수강생 33명과 강사 1명을 대상으로 설문지를 배포하는 방식으로 진행했다. 또한 더 깊은 분석을 위해 학생 5명과 강사 1명을 인터뷰 정보 제공자로 선정했다. 데이터를 분석한 결과, 학생과 강사는 인도네시아 한자 학습 매체가 멀티모달 요소로 개발되는 것에 '매우 동의'하는 것으로 나타났다. 한자 학습 미디어의 단점으로는 단방향 소통과 미디어 접근이 어렵다는 점을 꼽았다. 한자 학습 미디어의 형태는 보편적으로 책, 플래시카드, 학습 동영상으로 나뉘며 각 미디어의 디자인, 강의 계획서 등도 설계하였다. 결론적으로 UPI 한국어교육과 학습자를 위한 인도네시아어 전용 학습 미디어에 대한 요구 수준이 매우 높다는 것을 알 수 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 미디어 개발의 필요성 수준과 현재 구현된 미디어의 단점, 한국어 한자 어휘 학습을 위해 개발할 수 있는 인도네시아 학습자를 위한 한자 학습 미디어에 대한 제언을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
