Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran menyeluruh tentang penerapan Teaching Factory di SMKN 1 Banyusari dalam upaya meningkatkan kemandirian finansial peserta didik. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya literasi keuangan di Indonesia dan tingginya angka drop out di sekolah karena masalah finansial. Penelitian ini fokus pada aspek perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan, evaluasi, tindak lanjut, dan dampaknya terhadap kemandirian finansial peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket, wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan pembelajaran dengan Teaching Factory di SMKN 1 Banyusari telah disusun secara matang, meskipun terdapat tantangan dalam pelaksanaannya, terutama terkait dengan keterbatasan jumlah pelanggan. Pelaksanaan Teaching Factory memberikan manfaat praktis yang signifikan bagi peserta didik, meningkatkan kompetensi teknis, dan kemandirian finansial mereka. Namun, sebagian peserta didik masih memerlukan remedial untuk mencapai capaian pembelajaran yang diharapkan. Evaluasi dan tindak lanjut menunjukkan bahwa program ini berhasil mendukung kemandirian finansial peserta didik, walaupun diperlukan upaya lebih lanjut untuk memperluas dampaknya. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan Teaching Factory di SMKN 1 Banyusari memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kemandirian finansial peserta didik. Saran yang diajukan mencakup perlunya diversifikasi usaha dalam Teaching Factory dan peningkatan kerjasama dengan industri untuk memperluas jangkauan pasar dan meningkatkan pendapatan peserta didik. Implikasi penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya perbaikan berkelanjutan dalam program Teaching Factory agar seluruh peserta didik dapat mencapai kemandirian finansial yang optimal. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the implementation of the Teaching Factory at SMKN 1 Banyusari in enhancing students' financial independence. The research is motivated by the low financial literacy in Indonesia and the high dropout rates among students due to financial issues. The study focuses on the aspects of lesson planning, implementation, evaluation, follow-up, and its impact on students' financial independence. The research method employed is a qualitative. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using descriptive and thematic analysis. The findings reveal that the lesson planning for the Teaching Factory at SMKN 1 Banyusari has been well-prepared, despite challenges in its implementation, particularly regarding the limited number of clients served. The implementation of the Teaching Factory provides significant practical benefits to students, enhancing their technical competencies and financial independence. However, some students still require remedial assistance to achieve the expected learning outcomes. The evaluation and follow-up indicate that the program successfully supports the financial independence of some students, although further efforts are needed to expand its impact. Overall, the implementation of the Teaching Factory at SMKN 1 Banyusari has significant potential to improve students' financial independence. The recommendations include the need for business diversification within the Teaching Factory and strengthening collaboration with industry to expand market reach and increase student income. The implications of this study underscore the importance of continuous improvement in the Teaching Factory program to ensure that all students can achieve optimal financial independence.
