Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih terdapat pelaksanaan tes formatif diagnostik dengan metode konvensional atau paper based test (PBT) yang membutuhkan waktu cukup lama dalam hal pemeriksaan dan pengolahan nilai tes, biaya yang diperlukan cukup banyak, dan sulitnya memodifikasi soal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan aplikasi berbasis web untuk melaksanakan tes formatif diagnostik berbasis information and communication technology (ICT) yang dinamakan E-Formative Diagnostic Test (E-FAST). Metode yang digunakan adalah Research & Development (R&D) dengan desain penelitian ADDIE. Partisipan yang menggunakan E-FAST sebanyak 201 orang siswa pada salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Bandung. Pengolahan dan analisis data yang dilakukan adalah statistik deskriptif untuk lembar angket analisis kebutuhan, pemodelan Rasch untuk E-Formative Diagnostic Test (E-FAST) yang di dalamnya memuat instrumen Sound Wave Two Tier (SOWATT) Diagnostic Test, lembar validasi instrumen dan media, serta Wright map dan persentase skor total yang diperoleh dari pengisian lembar angket respon siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa E-FAST terkualifikasi layak dan valid untuk diujicobakan ke siswa, hasil pengolahan kategori konsepsi siswa diperoleh persentase sebesar 43% untuk kategori paham konsep, 17% untuk kategori miskonsepsi, 10% untuk menebak, dan 30% untuk kategori tidak paham konsep. Sedangkan berdasarkan hasil analisis angket respon siswa diperoleh nilai 72,70% yang menandakan bahwa siswa memberikan respon yang positif terhadap penggunaan aplikasi E-FAST berbasis web. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-FAST dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi konsepsi siswa pada materi gelombang bunyi dan mendapatkan respon yang positif dari siswa. This research is motivated by the fact that there is still the implementation of diagnostic formative tests using conventional methods or paper-based tests (PBT) which take a long time in terms of examining and processing test scores, the costs required are quite a lot, and the difficulty of modifying questions. This research aims to produce a web-based application for conducting diagnostic formative tests based on information and communication technology (ICT) called E-Formative Diagnostic Test (E-FAST). The method used was Research & Development (R&D) with ADDIE research design. The participants who used E-FAST were 201 students at one of the public high schools in Bandung Regency. Data processing and analysis were descriptive statistics for the needs analysis questionnaire, Rasch modelling for the E-Formative Diagnostic Test (E-FAST) which included the Sound Wave Two Tier (SOWATT) Diagnostic Test instrument, instrument and media validation sheets, as well as Wright map and percentage of total scores obtained from filling out the student response questionnaire. The results showed that E-FAST was qualified as feasible and valid to be tested on students, the results of processing student conception categories obtained a percentage of 43% for the category of scientific conception, 17% for the misconception, 10% for lucky guess, and 30% for the category of no understanding the concept. Meanwhile, based on the results of the analysis of student response questionnaires, a value of 72.70% was obtained, indicating that students gave a positive response to the use of the web-based E-FAST application. The results of the study can be concluded that E-FAST can be used to identify students' conceptions on sound waves material and get a positive response from students.
