Abstract

Penggunaan kamera dan pemahaman mendalam terhadap perangkat keras yang merupakan aspek penting dalam pendidikan fotografi di SMK Negeri 9 Bandung. Kurangnya pemahaman terhadap perangkat keras dapat menyebabkan kerusakan yang dapat dihindari. Kerusakan pada peralatan fotografi sering kali menghambat proses belajar mengajar. Pendidikan di SMK Negeri 9 Bandung tidak hanya menekankan kreativitas siswa dalam menghasilkan karya, tetapi juga kompetensi dalam merawat peralatan fotografi. Oleh karena itu, peneliti merancang video edukasi menggunakan model ADDIE mengenai penggunaan kamera dan pemeliharaan properti fotografi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode eksperimental jenis pre-eksperimental one-shot case study, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Video edukasi ini menekankan pengembangan keterampilan praktis, dengan keunggulan sebagai media pembelajaran visual yang mudah dipahami oleh berbagai tingkat pemahaman. Video ini tidak hanya berfokus pada penjelasan teoritis, tetapi juga mencakup demonstrasi praktis tentang penggunaan kamera dan pemeliharaan properti fotografi dengan hasil implementasi yang signifikan mengurangi kerusakan properti fotografi di SMK Negeri 9 Bandung ini, uji validasi produk dilakukan kepada ahli media dan materi dengan hasil “sangat valid”. Maka dapat disimpulkan media yang di rancang oleh peneliti sudah berhasil mencapai tujuannya dan layak digunakan sebagai media edukasi video. ----------- The use of cameras and a deep understanding of hardware are essential aspects of photography education at SMK Negeri 9 Bandung. A lack of understanding of the hardware can lead to avoidable damage. Damage to photography equipment often hampers the teaching and learning process. Education at SMK Negeri 9 Bandung not only emphasizes students' creativity in producing work but also their competence in maintaining photography equipment. Therefore, the researcher designed an educational video using the ADDIE model on camera usage and photography equipment maintenance, employing a qualitative approach and a pre-experimental one-shot case study method. Data was collected through observation and interviews. This educational video focuses on developing practical skills, with the advantage of being a visual learning medium that is easily understood by various levels of comprehension. The video not only provides theoretical explanations but also includes practical demonstrations of camera usage and equipment maintenance. The implementation of the video significantly reduced equipment damage at SMK Negeri 9 Bandung. The product validation test was conducted with media and material experts, yielding results that were deemed "highly valid." It can be concluded that the media designed by the researcher successfully achieved its objectives and is suitable for use as an educational video.
