Abstract
Perancangan visual identity merupakan langkah yang dapat dilakukan untuk memiliki identitas perusahaan kedalam bentuk visual. Salah satu UMKM (Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah) pada sektor kuliner yaitu Seblak Bunda Raziel perlu membuat visual identity karena perusahaan tersebut beberapa kali ditiru nama merek usahanya, sehingga konsumen tidak dapat membedakan usaha tersebut antara yang asli dan palsu. Tujuan dari penelitian merancang visual identity usaha Seblak Bunda Raziel, serta menghasilkan rancangan yang dapat diterapkan pada berbagai media promosi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu practice-led research, yang memiliki lima tahapan yaitu tahap persiapan, tahap mengimajinasi, tahap pengembangan imajinasi, tahap pengerjaan, dan hasil karya. Hasil penelitian menciptakan visual identity untuk usaha Seblak Bunda Raziel berupa logo, warna, typeface, pattern, dan beberapa aturan dalam penggunaan logo yang terdapat pada brand book. Visual identity yang dihasilkan diterapkan pada media promosi yaitu polo shirt, apron, sign system, kemasan, stiker, mangkuk, tote bag, kartu pesanan, daftar menu, serta pembuatan akun instagram perusahaan meliputi feed instagram, story harian, template postingan, dan template story instagram. Hasil perancangan visual identity yang sudah dilakukan diterima dan diterapkan oleh perusahaan untuk memperkuat identitas perusahaan kedalam bentuk visual. ---------- Designing a visual identity is a step that can be taken to have a company identity in visual form. One of the MSMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises) in the culinary sector, namely Seblak Bunda Raziel, needs to create a visual identity because the company has copied its business brand name several times, so consumers cannot differentiate between the original and fake business. The aim of the research is to design a visual identity for Seblak Bunda Raziel's business, as well as produce a design that can be applied to various promotional media. The method used in the research is practice-led research, which has five stages, namely the preparation stage, the imagination stage, the imagination development stage, the workmanship stage, and the work product. The results of the research created a visual identity for Seblak Bunda Raziel's business in the form of a logo, color, typeface, pattern, and several rules for using the logo in the brand book. The resulting visual identity is applied to promotional media, namely polo shirts, aprons, sign systems, packaging, stickers, bowls, tote bags, order cards, menu lists, as well as creating company Instagram accounts including Instagram feeds, daily stories, post templates and story templates.
