Abstract
Pemahaman konsep merupakan keterampilan yang sangat penting untuk dilatih dalam pembelajaran abad 21. Namun, pemahaman konsep siswa di sekolah dasar masih tergolong rendah yang diakibatkan dari ketesediaan media pembelajaran yang dapat melatih pemahaman konsep siswa masih sangat sulit untuk diterapkan. Tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan media pembelajaran WESIPNAS pada materi sistem pernapasan manusia di sekolah dasar yang valid, reliabel, dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian Design and Developmnet (D&D) tipe 2. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tahap analisis ditemukan urgensi pengembangan media pembelajaran WESIPNAS (website sistem pernapasan manusia) sebagai solusi untuk melatih pemahaman konsep siswa. Hasil penilaian para validator diuji menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha dan Aiken’s V. Validator ahli media menunjukkan hasil hasil reliabel dan sangat tinggi. Validator ahli materi menunjukkan hasil reliabel dan sangat tinggi. Validator ahli pembelajaran menunjukkan reliabel dan sangat tinggi dan untuk validator bahasa menunjukkan hasil reliabel dan tinggi. Hasil respon guru dan siswa menunjukkan hasil sangat baik. Selanjutnya, untuk hasil soal Pre-test dan Post-test menunjukkan bahwa siswa mengalami peningkatan pemahaman konsep. Pada setiap aspek pemahaman konsep, yaitu mengingat, memahami, mengaplikasikan, menganalisis, mengevaluasi, dan membuat. Untuk indikator yang mengalami peningkatan tertinggi yaitu indikator memahami dan indikator yang mengalami peningkatan terendah yaitu menganalisis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran WESIPNAS sangat baik digunakan untuk dapat melatih pemahaman konsep siswa kelas V. ---------- Understanding concepts is a very important skill to be trained in 21st-century learning. However, elementary school students' conceptual understanding is still relatively low, due to the difficulty of applying learning media that can train students' conceptual understanding. The purpose of this study is to develop WESIPNAS learning media on the topic of the human respiratory system for elementary schools that is valid, reliable, and practical for use in teaching. This study is a Type 2 Design and Development (D&D) research. The results of this study indicate that the analysis stage found the urgency of developing WESIPNAS learning media (a website for the human respiratory system) as a solution to train students' conceptual understanding. The assessment results from the validators were tested using Cronbach’s Alpha and Aiken’s V. The media expert validators showed reliable and very high results. The subject matter expert validators showed reliable and very high results. The instructional expert validators showed reliable and very high results, and the language expert validators showed reliable and high results. The responses from teachers and students indicated very good results. Furthermore, the results of the Pretest and Post-test questions showed that students experienced an increase in conceptual understanding in each aspect of conceptual understanding, namely remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating. The indicator with the highest increase was understanding, while the lowest increase was in analyzing. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that WESIPNAS learning media is very effective for training the conceptual understanding of fifth-grade students.
