Abstract
Penelitian ini melakukan pengembangan multimedia realitas virtual berbasis mobile pada materi pengelasan untuk meningkatkan kognitif siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan one-group pretest-posttest design yang menyasar kepada siswa kelas 12 SMK jurusan Teknik Pengelasan. Soal pre-test dan post-test berisikan soal mengenai materi identifikasi mesin pengelasan SMAW dan elektroda SMAW. Metode ADDIE digunakan oleh peneliti dalam mengembangkan produk multimedia yang diinginkan. Dalam penerapan multimedia, setidaknya terdapat 10 siswa yang berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. Dari uji Shapiro-Wilk yang dilakukan didapat data pre-test (0.909) data post-test (0,942) semuanya terdistribusi normal. Sedangkan pada uji-t menggunakan uji paired samples t-test didapat hasil 0,226 yang mengindikasikan ditolaknya H1 dan diterimanya H0 sehingga kesimpulan yang didapat adalah bahwa “Tidak Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara nilai pre-test dan post-test”. Sedangkan pada hasil uji n-gain didapat hasil sebagai berikut, kelompok atas didapat rata-rata nilai kelompok adalah 70, disusul kelompok tengah dengan rata-rata kelompok 48,6, dan kelompok bawah dengan rata-rata nilai 20. Kelompok atas mendapatkan rata-rata nilai n-gain -0,33 yang mengindikasikan kriteria dari nilai tersebut “Terjadi Penurunan” dan tingkat efektivitas “Tidak Efektif”. Pada kelompok tengah rata-rata nilai n-gain yang didapat adalah 0,06 dengan kriteria “Rendah” dan efektivitas “Tidak Efektif”. Sedangkan pada kelompok bawah nilai n-gain rata-rata adalah 0,38 dengan kriteria “Sedang” dan efektivitas “Tidak Efektif”. This study conducted the development of mobile-based virtual reality multimedia on welding material to improve students' cognitive abilities. This study used a one-group pretest-posttest design targeting 12th grade students of SMK majoring in Welding Engineering. The pre-test and post-test questions contained questions about the material on identifying SMAW welding machines and SMAW electrodes. The ADDIE method was used by researchers in developing the desired multimedia product. In the application of multimedia, at least 10 students participated in this study. From the Shapiro-Wilk test conducted, the pre-test data (0.909) and post-test data (0.942) were all normally distributed. While in the t-test using the paired samples t-test, the results were 0.226 which indicated that H1 was rejected and H0 was accepted so that the conclusion obtained was that "There is no significant difference between the pre-test and post-test values". Meanwhile, the results of the n-gain test obtained the following results, the upper group obtained an average group value of 70, followed by the middle group with an average group of 48.6, and the lower group with an average value of 20. The upper group obtained an average n-gain value of -0.33 which indicates the criteria of the value "Decrease" and the level of effectiveness "Ineffective". In the middle group, the average n-gain value obtained was 0.06 with the criteria "Low" and the effectiveness "Ineffective". While in the lower group, the average n-gain value was 0.38 with the criteria "Medium" and the effectiveness "Ineffective".
