Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode outdoor learning terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam membuat kladogram pada materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini merupakan siswa SMA kelas X di salah satu SMA Negeri di Bandung tahun ajaran 2023/2024 yang mempelajari materi klasifikasi makhluk hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 (dua) kelas yaitu satu kelas sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelas sebagai kelompok kontrol. Total siswa yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 61 siswa, yaitu 31 siswa kelas kontrol dan 30 siswa kelas eksperimen, penentuan sampel dilakukan secara convenience sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik non-tes, LKPD dan angket. Data dianalisis dengan teknik deskriptif kuantitatif. Dari hasil uji Mann Whitney diperoleh nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode outdoor learning terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam membuat kladogram. Pada umumnya, siswa memberi respon positif terhadap terhadap penerapan metode outdoor learning. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the outdoor learning method on students' ability to create cladograms in the subject of Biological Classification. The participants in this study are tenth-grade students from one of the senior high schools in Bandung for the academic year 2023/2024 who are studying biological classification. This research involves two classes: one as the experimental group and the other as the control group. A total of 61 students participated in the study, with 31 students in the control group and 30 students in the experimental group. The sampling method used was convenience sampling. Data collection techniques included non-test methods, worksheets and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative techniques. The Mann-Whitney test results yielded an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05. The research findings indicate that there is an effect of using outdoor learning method on students' ability to create cladograms. In general, students responded positively to the implementation of the outdoor learning method.
