Abstract

Kehidupan Abad 21 hadir dengan sejumlah tuntutan kemampuan salah satunya adalah kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Hasil asesmen kemampuan berpikir kreatif PISA 2022 menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di Indonesia masih rendah. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif adalah Case Method Pola Pentahelix. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) Perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di kelas eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran dengan model Case Method Pola Pentahelix; 2) Perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di kelas kontrol sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran dengan model Case Method Pola Diskusi; 3) Perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol; 4) Pengaruh model Case Method Pola Pentahelix terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif metode kuasi eksperimen dengan rancangan non-equivalent control group design pada subjek penelitian kelas eksperimen dan kontrol. Variabel terdiri atas model pembelajaran Case Method Pola Pentahelix (variabel bebas) dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif (variabel terikat), yang diukur dari indikator kelancaran, fleksibilitas, keaslian, dan elaborasi. Instrumen penelitian meliputi lembar observasi, soal tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif, LKPD, dan lembar penilaian presentasi. Analisis data menggunakan Uji-T dan regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 1) Perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di kelas eksperimen dengan rata-rata N-Gain sedang; 2) Perbedaan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata N-Gain sedang; 3) Perbedaan signifikan antara kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol (N-Gain kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi); 4) Pengaruh model Case Method Pola Pentahelix terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif dengan korelasi kuat. The 21st century demands various skills, including creative thinking. The 2022 PISA results indicate Indonesian students' creative thinking skills remain low. One instructional model that can enhance these skills is the Pentahelix Pattern Case Method. This study aims to determine: 1) Differences in students' creative thinking abilities in the experimental class before and after using the Pentahelix Pattern Case Method; 2) Differences in students' creative thinking abilities in the control class before and after using the Discussion Pattern Case Method; 3) Differences in creative thinking abilities between the experimental and control classes; and 4) The effect of the Pentahelix Pattern Case Method on students' creative thinking abilities. This quantitative research uses a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design involving experimental and control subjects. The variables are the Pentahelix Pattern Case Method (independent variable) and creative thinking skills (dependent variable), measured by fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration. Research instruments include observation sheets, creative thinking test questions, student worksheets, and presentation assessment sheets. Data analysis was conducted using T-tests and linear regression. The results show: 1) A difference in the creative thinking abilities of students in the experimental class with a moderate average N-Gain; 2) A difference in the creative thinking abilities of students in the control class with a moderate average N-Gain; 3) A significant difference in creative thinking abilities between the experimental and control classes (with higher N-Gain in the experimental class); and 4) The Pentahelix Pattern Case Method significantly influences creative thinking skills with a strong correlation.
