Abstract
Pada abad 21, siswa dituntut untuk memiliki keterampilan berupa keterampilan berpikir kritis, keterampilan komunikasi, keterampilan kolaborasi, dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif atau yang disebut dengan keterampilan 4C. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa keterampilan abad 21 dapat tercapai melalui penerapan pembelajaran model RADEC pada materi hukum kekekalan massa kelas X. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan evaluatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Lembar Tugas Terstruktur (LTT), lembar observasi, dan angket self assessment. Penelitian ini melibatkan 2 dosen pendidikan kimia dan 1 guru kimia sebagai validator instrumen penelitian, 3 observer yang terdiri dari 1 guru kimia dan 2 mahasiswa pendidikan kimia, serta 32 orang siswa kelas X sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pencapaian keterampilan abad 21 melalui penerapan pembelajaran model RADEC pada topik hukum kekekalan massa bagi siswa SMA kelas X secara keseluruhan dapat tercapai melalui penerapan model RADEC dengan kategori sangat baik tetapi fluktuatif. Diperoleh pencapaian setiap keterampilannya yaitu: (1) pada keterampilan berpikir kritis melalui penerapan pembelajaran model RADEC tercapai dengan kategori sangat baik dengan pencapaian paling tinggi pada tahap explain; (2) pada keterampilan komunikasi melalui penerapan pembelajaran model RADEC tercapai dengan kategori sangat baik dengan pencapaian paling tinggi pada tahap explain; (3) pada keterampilan kolaborasi melalui penerapan pembelajaran model RADEC tercapai dengan kategori sangat baik dengan pencapaian paling tinggi pada tahap discuss dan explain; dan (4) pada keterampilan berpikir kreatif melalui penerapan pembelajaran model RADEC tercapai dengan kategori sangat baik dengan pencapaian paling tinggi pada tahap explain.
In the 21st century, students are required to have skills in the form of critical thinking skills, communication skills, collaboration skills, and creative thinking skills or what is called 4C skills. This study aims to prove that 21st century skills can be achieved through the application of RADEC model learning in class X mass conservation law material. The method used is descriptive qualitative with an evaluative approach. The research instruments used were Structured Task Sheet (LTT), observation sheet, and self-assessment questionnaire. This study involved 2 chemistry education lecturers and 1 chemistry teacher as validators of research instruments, 3 observers consisting of 1 chemistry teacher and 2 chemistry education students, and 32 class X students as research subjects. The results showed that the achievement of 21st century skills through the application of RADEC model learning on the topic of the law of conservation of mass for grade X high school students as a whole can be achieved through the application of the RADEC model with a very good but fluctuating category. The achievement of each skill is obtained, namely: (1) on critical thinking skills through the application of RADEC model learning achieved with excellent category with the highest achievement at the explain stage; (2) on communication skills through the application of RADEC model learning achieved with excellent category with the highest achievement at the explain stage; (3) on collaboration skills through the application of RADEC model learning achieved with excellent category with the highest achievement at the discuss and explain stages; and (4) on creative thinking skills through the application of RADEC model learning achieved with excellent category with the highest achievement at the explain stage.
