Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi serta menganalisis model pendidikan karakter disiplin di Pondok Pesantren Persatuan Islam 153 Al-Firdaus. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Metode studi kasus peneliti gunakan dikarenakan kejadian atau peristiwa yang spesifik dan unik terkait beberapa program karakter disiplin di Pondok Pesantren Persatuan Islam 153 Al-Firdaus, seperti program tahfizh Al-Qur’an dengan metode tathbiq, program bahasa, penggunaan peci hitam dan budaya bersarung, budaya tertib merapihkan sandal, budaya salam dan bersalaman, manajemen waktu yang disebut dengan SD2T2I, M2T, PTMI, dan baiat (ikrar santri). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kebijakan disiplin di Pondok Pesantren Persatuan Islam 153 Al-Firdaus tertuang secara jelas dalam visi dan misi pesantren, serta dikembangkan dalam bentuk pedoman program dan kegiatan, 2) Pendidikan karakter disiplin di Pondok Pesantren Persatuan Islam 153 Al-Firdaus diimplementasikan dalam bentuk program kegiatan yang mengokohkan dan mengembangkan nilai karakter disiplin, 3) Model pendidikan karakter disiplin di Pondok Pesantren Persatuan Islam 153 Al-Firdaus dilaksanakan dengan mengintegrasikan nilai karakter tersebut ke dalam semua mata pelajaran, pembiasaan dalam keseharian di pesantren, kegiatan kurikuler dan atau ekstrakurikuler, serta pembiasaan dalam keseharian di rumah melalui daftar check list kegiatan selama liburan, 4) Pelaksanaan program karakter disiplin di Pondok Pesantren Persatuan Islam 153 Al-Firdaus menunjukkan hasil yang optimal, baik berupa pengetahuan keterampilan, maupun perilaku. Secara teoretis, implikasi dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa karakter disiplin merupakan aspek penting dalam konteks pendidikan pesantren. Secara praktis, model pendidikan karakter disiplin dengan mengambil studi kasus di Pondok Pesantren Persatuan Islam 153 Al-Firdaus ini dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif untuk diimplementasikan di Pesantren Persatuan Islam lainnya. Kata kunci: Model Pendidikan, Karakter Disiplin, Pesantren ABSTRACT This research aims to explore and analyze the disciplinary character education model at the Persatuan Islam Islamic Boarding School 153 Al-Firdaus. This research design uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The researcher used the case study method due to specific and unique circumstances or occurrences related to several disciplinary character programs at the Persatuan Islam Islamic Boarding School 153 Al-Firdaus, such as the Al-Qur'an tahfizh program using the tathbiq method, language programs, the tradition of using black caps and the culture of wearing sarongs, the culture of orderly tidying up sandals, the culture of greetings and shaking hands, and time management which is called SD2T2I, M2T, PTMI, and baiat (students oath). The results of this research show that: 1) The disciplinary policy at the Persatuan Islam Islamic Boarding School 153 Al-Firdaus is clearly stated in the Islamic boarding school's vision and mission, and is developed in the form of program and activity guidelines, 2) Disciplinary character education at the Persatuan Islam Islamic Boarding School 153 Al-Firdaus is implemented in the form of an activity program that strengthens and develops disciplinary character values, 3) The disciplinary character education model at the Persatuan Islam Islamic Boarding School 153 Al-Firdaus is implemented by integrating these character values into all subjects, habits in daily life at the Islamic boarding school, curricular activities and or extracurricular activities, as well as getting used to daily life at home through a checklist of activities during the holidays, 4) Implementation of the disciplinary character program at the Persatuan Islam Islamic Boarding School 153 Al-Firdaus shows optimal results, both in the form of knowledge, skills and behavior. Theoretically, the implications of this research show that the character of discipline is an important aspect in the context of Islamic boarding school education. Practically, the disciplinary character education model by taking a case studie at the Persatuan Islam Islamic Boarding School 153 Al-Firdaus can be used as an alternative to be implemented in other Persatuan Islam Islamic Boarding Schools.
