Abstract
CV. ----------- CV. XYZ, a micro-scale retail company specializing in the sale of electrical equipment, faces critical challenges related to the lack of integration between its inventory management system and sales data. This issue has led to various problems, including difficulties in data management, loss of crucial information, and inaccuracies in tracking invoices and customer orders. This study aims to develop an integrated database model that combines sales and inventory management through the application of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) concepts at CV. XYZ, with a focus on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of data management. The research employs the Design Research Methodology (DRM), encompassing the stages of classification, descriptive study I, prescriptive study, and descriptive study II. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the owner of CV. XYZ and analyzed qualitatively to identify system issues and requirements. The study's findings reveal that the current system is not well integrated, necessitating a new database design that is more effective and efficient in supporting the company's data management. This design was then implemented using Oracle. The study concludes that the proposed integration can enhance stock monitoring and optimize sales data management.
