Abstract

Skripsi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan (1) dominan bahasa yang dipakai sebagai bahasa pengantar dalam kegiatan belajar di kelas II SDN Tunas harapan, (2) campur kode bahasa Indonesia ke dalam bahasa Sunda dalam kegiatan belajar di kelas II SDN Tunas Harapan, dan (3) faktor yang menyebabkan adanya campur kode bahasa Indonesia ke dalam bahasa Indonesia dalam kegiatan belajar di kelas II SDN Tunas Harapan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Pengumpulan datanya menggunakan tekhnik angket dan sadap rekam. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket, rekaman dan kartu data. Dari hasil analisis teks terhadap transkripsi hasil rekaman proses KBM pelajaran tematik di SDN Tunas Harapan, ditemukan bahwa bahasa yang lebih dominan digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran adalah bahasa Indonesia. Ditemukan ada dua bentuk campur kode dalam kegiatan belajar pelajaran tematik di SDN Tunas Harapan, yaitu campur kode dalam tuturan guru dan campur kode dalam tuturan murid. Dari 127 kalimat ada 113 (88,98%) kalimat yang termasuk ke dalam gejala campur kode BI-BS dalam tuturan guru dan 14 (11,02%) kalimat yang termasuk ke dalam gejala campur kode BI-BS dalam tuturan murid. Dari analisis data ditemukan 418 (75,72%) kata bahasa Sunda dan 134 (24,28%) kata bahasa Indonesia pada campur kode dalam tuturan guru. Sedangkan pada campur kode dalam tuturan murid ditemukan 31 (67,39%) kata bahasa Sunda dan 15 (32,61%) kata bahasa Indonesia. Dari 127 kalimat campur kode dalam tuturan guru dan murid dibagi menjadi dua variasi, yaitu variasi campur kode yang kata bahasa Indonesianya mirip dengan kata bahasa Sunda tapi sama arti dan campur kode yang kata bahasa Indonesianya sama dengan kata bahasa Sunda tapi berbeda arti. Faktor yang menyebabkan proses campur kode adalah kebiasaan sehari-hari murid yang menggunakan bahasa campuran untuk berkomunikasi dan kedwibahasaan. Kata Kunci: Campur kode, kegiatan diajar. This research aims to describe (1) the dominant spoken language as a language of instruction in learning activities in second grade of elementary school Tunas Harapan, (2) code mixing from Indonesian to Sundanese in learning activities in second grade of elementary school Tunas Harapan, and (3) the factors that create Sundanese Indonesian code mixing in learning activities in second grade of elementary school Tunas Harapan. The method usein this research is the descriptive method. The procedure for collecting data uses questionnaire and the recorded data. The instruments used are questionnaire, recording techniques and data card. From the analysis of the text transcription from recorded data onthematic teaching, it is found that the more dominant language used in learning activities is Indonesian. There are two form of code mixing in thematic lesson and learning activities in second grade of elementary school Tunas Harapan, namely code mixing in the teacher’s talk and code mixing in student’s responses. Of the 127 sentences there are 113 (88,98%) sentences that belong to Indonesian to Sundanese code mixing in teacher’s talk and 14 (11,02%) sentences that , it is found 31 (67,39%) Sundanese words and 15 (32,61%) Indonesian words. Of the 127 code mixing sentences from teacher’s talk and student’s responses can be divided into two variations i.e the code mixing whose Indonesian words are similar to Sundanese phonologically but have the same meanings and e the code mixing whose Indonesian words are similar to Sundanese phonologically but have the different meanings. The factors that create code mixing are student’s mixed language used in daily communication and their bilingualism. Keywords: code mixing, learning activities
