Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fakta di lapangan di mana siswa memiliki motivasi belajar yang rendah yang menyebabkan siswa kurang mengenal tokoh pahlawan di Indonesia. Selain itu, lunturnya permainan tradisional pada kalangan anak muda membuat permainan tradisional terancam punah. Sementara itu, pada usia sekolah dasar anak memiliki karakteristik senang bermain, Oleh karena itu, Peneliti memilih media permainan tradisional dam-daman berbantuan QR code sebagai solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Tujuan pengembangan media ini adalah untuk menghadirkan variasi media pembelajaran, memudahkan pembelajaran IPS sekaligus mengenalkan permainan tradisional pada siswa sekolah dasar. Media ini dirancang dengan menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) tipe Product and Tools. Metode ini terdiri dari enam tahapan, yaitu mengidentifikasi masalah, menentukan tujuan dan solusi, mendesain dan mengembangkan, mendemosntrasikan, mengevaluasi, dan mengomunikasikan hasil. Setelah media dikembangkan Peneliti melakukan uji kelayakan produk dengan ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media. Untuk penilaian dari ahli materi mendapatkan skor 92,3 % dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Dari ahli bahasa mendapatkan skor 75% dengan kategori “Layak” dan dari ahli media mendapatkan skor 92,1% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak.” Setelah dilakukan uji validasi, selanjutnya Peneliti melakukan uji coba media kepada para pengguna, yaitu siswa dan guru kelas IV SDN Bojongbraja. Dari hasil uji coba ini diperoleh respon dengan skor 93,33% dari guru dan 91,44% dari siswa. Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media permainan tradisional dam-daman berbantuan QR code layak untuk digunakan pada pembelajaran IPS materi Pahlawan Indonesia dan terbukti mampu meningkatkan motivasi serta semangat belajar siswa untuk mengenal pahlawan Indonesia. -------------- This research is motivated by the fact that students have low motivation to learn which causes students to be less familiar with heroes in Indonesia. In addition, the fading of traditional games among young people makes traditional games endangered. Meanwhile, at the age of elementary school children have the characteristics of enjoying playing, therefore, researchers chose the traditional dam-daman game media assisted by QR code as a solution to overcome these problems. The purpose of developing this media is to present a variety of learning media, facilitate social studies learning while introducing traditional games to elementary school students. This media is designed using the Product and Tools type Design and Development (D&D) method. This method consists of six stages, namely identifying problems, determining goals and solutions, designing and developing, demonstrating, evaluating, and communicating results. After the media was developed, researchers conducted product feasibility tests with material experts, linguists, and media experts. For the assessment of the material expert, the score was 92.3% with the category “Very Feasible”. From linguists get a score of 75% with the category “Feasible” and from media experts get a score of 92.1% with the category “Very Feasible.” After the validation test was carried out, the researchers then tested the media to users, namely students and teachers of class IV SDN Bojongbraja. From the results of this trial, a response was obtained with a score of 93.33% from the teacher and 91,44% from the students. So, it can be concluded that the traditional dam-daman game media assisted by QR code is suitable for use in learning social studies material on Indonesian Heroes and is proven to be able to increase students' motivation and enthusiasm for learning to recognize Indonesian heroes.
