Abstract
ABSTRAK Penelitian ini berjudul “Seni Pertunjukan Maenpo Cianjur Untuk Rintisan Wisata Pendidikan”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengemas Maenpo yang merupakan bela diri asli Kabupaten Cianjur menjadi seni pertunjukan untuk ritisan wisata pendidikan di Kabupaten Cianjur. Teori utama yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu merujuk pada teori R. M. Soedarsosno tentang seni pertunjukan wisata yaitu dengan ciri-ciri : (1) Tiruan dari aslinya, (2) dikemas singkat atau padat; (3) ditinggalkan nilai-nilai sakral, magis,dan simbolisnya; (4) penuh variasi; dan (5) murah (menurut ukuran kantong wisatawan) tari serta didukung beberapa teori lain yang relevanberkaitan dengan teori konstruksi dan konsep. . Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan art based research (ABR) dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian berada di Kabupaten Cianjur tepatnya di Padepokan Maenpo Cikalong dengan partisipan dari Sariak layung dan Andira Raga yang berjumlahkan tiga puluh orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini mencakup observasi, wawancara, studi dokumentasi dan focus discussion group (FGD). Teknik analisis melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan Temuan dalampenelitian ini yaitu inovasi baru mengenai kemasan seni pertunjukan untuk wisata pendidikan dirancang berdasarkan interpretasi sejarah Maenpo Cikalong yang menceritakan tokoh Raden Haji Ibrahim. Proses pengemasan seni pertunjukan dilakukan selama 26 hari dengan melibatkan konstruksi I, II, III, IV dan V untuk mengembangkan teknik gerak dasar Maenpo Cikalong dalam menciptakan inovasi baru seni pertunjukan. Hasil karya baru seni pertunjukan Maenpo Cianjur menghasilkan prosuk sajian atau kemasan pariwisata yang berjudul Maen Po’r You dan kegiatan mini workshop, penelitian ini dilakukan hanya sampai menciptakan kemasan dalam bentuk inovasi baru sebagai upaya rintisan pengembangan wisata Pendidikan dan belum ditetapkan di lokasi pariwisata Kabupaten Cianjur. Kata Kunci: Seni Pertunjukan, Maenpo Cianjur, Wisata Pendidikan ABSTRACT This research is titled " Maenpo Cianjur Performing Arts for Educational Tourism Pioneering”.. This research aims to package Maenpo, which is the original martial art of Cianjur Regency, into performing arts for educational tourism in Cianjur Regency. The main theory used in this research is referring to R. M. Soedarsosno's theory of tourist performing arts, namely with the following characteristics: (1) imitation of the original, (2) packaged briefly or compactly; (3) abandoned sacred, magical, and symbolic values; (4) full of variations; and (5) cheap (according to the size of the tourist pocket) dance and supported by several other relevant theories related to the theory of construction and concept. . The method in this study uses artbase research (ABR) with a qualitative approach. The research location is in Cianjur Regency, precisely at Padepokan Maenpo Cikalong with participants from Sariak layung and Andira Raga totaling thirty people. Data collection techniques used in this research include observation, interviews, documentation studies and focus discussion groups (FGD). The analysis technique performs data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing The findings in this study are new innovations regarding the packaging of performing arts for educational tourism designed based on the historical interpretation of Maenpo Cikalong which tells the character Raden Haji Ibrahim. The process of packaging performing arts was carried out for 26 days by involving construction I, II, III, IV and V to develop the basic motion techniques of Maenpo Cikalong in creating new innovations in performing arts. The results of the new work of maenpo cianjur performance art produce a presentation product or tourism packaging entitled Maen Po'r You and mini workshop activities, this research was conducted only to create packaging in the form of new innovations as a pilot effort for the development of educational tourism and has not been established in the tourism location of Cianjur Regency.
