Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita, umumnya siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami soal dan membuat kalimat matematiknya. Penerapan model pembelajaran Everyone is a Teacher Here diyakini dapat meningkatkan partisipasi siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, serta menjadikan siswa aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Guru dapat menggunakan model yang dapat mengembangkan daya nalar anak berupa saling bertukar pendapat dan pertanyaan terhadap suatu materi belajar. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai pengaruh model pembelajaran Everyone is a Teacher Here terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di SDN 262 Panyileukan, Kota Bandung. Sampel terdiri dari siswa kelas V A sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas V B sebagai kelompok kontrol. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 50 siswa kelas V. Analisis data hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika siswa setelah menerapkan model pembelajaran Everyone is a Teacher Here. Perbedaan signifikan juga terlihat antara peningkatan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematis siswa di kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Oleh karena itu, model Pembelajaran Everyone is a Teacher Here dapat dianggap sebagai salah satu alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika siswa. ---------- This research is based on the low ability of students to solve word problems, generally students have difficulty in understanding problems and making mathematical sentences. The application of the Everyone is a Teacher Here learning model is believed to increase student participation in learning activities, as well as make students active in learning activities. Teachers can use a model that can develop children's reasoning power in the form of exchanging opinions and questions about a learning material. Therefore, this study aims to assess the influence of the Everyone is a Teacher Here learning model on students' ability to solve math word problems. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The population of this study is grade V students at SDN 262 Panyileukan, Bandung City. The sample consisted of students of class V A as the experimental group and class V B as the control group. The participants of this study consisted of 50 students in grade V. Data analysis of the results showed a significant improvement in students' ability to solve math word problems after applying the Everyone is a Teacher Here learning model. A significant difference was also seen between the improvement of students' ability to solve mathematical word problems in the experimental group and the control group. Therefore, the Everyone is a Teacher Here learning model can be considered as one of the effective alternatives to improve students' ability to solve math word problems.
