Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penemuan awal yang menunjukkan bahwa dalam pembelajaran IPS hanya menggunakan buku ajar cetakan pemerintah sebagai bahan ajar utama yang memiliki keterbatasan khususnya dari segi materi. Jumlah bahan ajar utama yang terbatas menyebabkan pendidikan kurang optimal dalam menyampaikan materi. Selain itu, tidak tersedianya bahan ajar penunjang berbasis digital pada pembelajaran IPS sehingga kurangnya keaktifan dan keterlibatan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan permasalah tersebut, dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan e-modul berbasis ICARE dengan materi interaksi manusia dengan lingkungan pada pembelajaran IPS kelas V sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu analysis, design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SDN Karangsirna dengan melibatkan pendidik dan 25 peserta didik kelas V. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah data kualitatif dan data kuantitatif. Hasil penilaian kelayakan e-modul oleh ahli materi, media, dan bahasa memperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 86,8% dengan kategori sangat layak. Pada uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh respon pendidik sebesar 88% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan respon dari 6 peserta didik sebesar 75% dengan kategori praktis. Uji coba kelompok besar memperoleh respon pendidik sebesar 92% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan respon 25 peserta didik sebesar 91,3% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa e-modul berbasis ICARE dikatakan layak dan praktis digunakan dalam pembelajaran khususnya pada materi interaksi manusia dengan lingkungan pada pembelajaran IPS di kelas V sekolah dasar. This research is motivated by preliminary findings that show that in learning social studies only use textbooks printed by the government as the main teaching material that has limitations especially in terms of material. The limited amount of main teaching materials causes educators to be less than optimal in delivering the material. In addition, the unavailability of digital-based supporting teaching materials in social studies learning so that the lack of activeness and involvement of students in learning. Based on these problems, research was conducted that aims to develop ICARE-based e-modules with material on human interaction with the environment in social studies learning grade V elementary school. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research was conducted at SDN Karangsirna involving educators and 25 grade V students. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative data and quantitative data. The results of the e-module feasibility assessment by material, media, and language experts obtained an average score of 86.8% with a very feasible category. In the small group trial, the educator's response was 88% with a very practical category and the response of 6 students was 75% with a practical category. The large group trial obtained an educator response of 92% with a very practical category and a response of 25 students of 91.3% with a very practical category. It can be concluded that the ICARE-based e-module is said to be feasible and practical to use in learning, especially on the material of human interaction with the environment in social studies learning in grade V elementary school.
