Abstract

Kehadiran revolusi industri 4.0 ditandai dengan penggunaan sistem informasi tanpa batas serta pendidikan abad 21 yang menuntut individu untuk memiliki keterampilan manajemen informasi dan teknologi. Hal tersebut berpengaruh dalam dunia pendidikan. Penguasaan konsep merupakan kemampuan mendasar bagi siswa dan literasi informasi merupakan keterampilan penting di abad 21 untuk dapat mencari dan menggunakan informasi secara efektif. Penguasaan konsep dan literasi informasi diperlukan dalam memecahkan permasalahan dalam kehidupan. Maka dari itu, diperlukan upaya penyesuaian dalam pembelajaran dengan mengikuti perkembangan zaman. Salah satu pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan, yaitu penerapan personal digital inquiry terintegrasi proyek lingkungan. Pembelajaran ini melibatkan siswa aktif mencari informasi untuk menemukan solusi berdasarkan permasalahan melalui sumber digital. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh informasi terkait peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan literasi informasi siswa, serta respon siswa setelah diterapkannya pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-eksperimental dengan one group pretest and posttest design, dan teknik sampel convenience sampling. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah penguasaan konsep dan literasi informasi siswa kelas X sebanyak 66 siswa di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan berupa tes penguasaan konsep, tes literasi informasi, dan angket respon siswa. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata pretest penguasaan konsep sebesar 53,41 dan posttest 77,95 dengan N-Gain 0,54 (sedang). Nilai rata-rata pretest literasi informasi sebesar 43,48 dan posttest 68,13 dengan N-Gain 0,40 (sedang). Hasil rata-rata keseluruhan angket respon siswa sebesar 81,6%, artinya siswa memberikan respon sangat baik terhadap pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran personal digital inquiry terintegrasi proyek lingkungan dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan literasi informasi siswa. The presence of the industrial revolution 4.0 is characterized by the use of unlimited information systems and 21st century education that requires individuals to have information and technology management skills. This affects the world of education. Concept mastery is a fundamental ability for students and information literacy is an important skill in the 21st century to be able to find and use information effectively. Concept mastery and information literacy are needed in solving problems in life. Therefore, it is necessary to make adjustments in learning by following the times. One of the lessons that can be applied is the application of personal digital inquiry integrated with environmental projects. This learning involves students actively seeking information to find solutions based on problems through digital sources. The purpose of this study was to obtain information related to the improvement of concept mastery and iteration of student information, as well as student responses after the application of this learning. This research used pre-experimental method with one group pretest and posttest design, and convenience sampling technique. The samples in this study were concept mastery and information literacy of grade X students as many as 66 students in one of the public senior high schools in Bandung City. The research instruments used were concept mastery test, information literacy test, and student response questionnaire. The results of the analysis showed that the mean value of concept mastery pretest was 53.41 and posttest was 77.95 with N-Gain 0.54 (medium). The average value of information literacy pretest was 43.48 and posttest 68.13 with N-Gain 0.40 (medium). The overall average result of the student response questionnaire is 81.6%, meaning that students give a very good response to learning. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of personal digital inquiry learning integrated with environmental projects can improve students' concept mastery and information literacy.
