Abstract

Stres merupakan bagian alami dari kehidupan dan tidak dapat dihindarkan oleh manusia di setiap tahapan kehidupannya. Fenomena stress pada peserta didik perlu mendapatkan perhatian serius dari pendidik maupun peserta didik sendiri karena dapat berdampak bagi akademiknya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi profil coping stress pada peserta didik dan implikasinya bagi layanan bimbingan kelompok di SMA. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 303 peserta didik kelas X tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel non probability sampling dengan jenis sampel jenuh. Instrumen yang disusun pada penelitian ini berdasarkan teori coping stress dari Lazarus & Folkman dengan menggunakan pengukuran model skala likert sebanyak 63 item. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan profil coping stress peserta didik kelas X di SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung cenderung pada jenis emotional focused coping. Rancangan layanan bimbingan kelompok dengan teknik group exercise bertujuan untuk mengembangkan coping stress peserta didik baik emotional focused coping maupun problem focused coping sehingga peserta didik mampu menghadapi serta mengelola berbagai situasi stres. Bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling. diharapkan untuk melakukan judgement terlebih dahulu sebelum melaksanakan rancangan layanan bimbingan kelompok yang telah dibuat. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan memperluas penelitian dengan melibatkan lebih banyak sekolah dan peserta didik dari berbagai jenjang, latar belakang sosial, ekonomi, dan budaya untuk mendapatkan pemahaman yang lebih komprehensif mengenai coping stress peserta didik. Stress is a natural part of life and cannot be avoided by humans at every stage of their lives. The phenomenon of stress in students needs serious attention from educators and students themselves because it can have an impact on their academics. This study aims to identify the profile of stress coping in students and its implications for group guidance services in high school. The research used a quantitative approach with a survey design. The research sample amounted to 303 grade X students in the 2023/2024 school year with a non-probability sampling technique with a saturated sample type. The instrument prepared in this study is based on Lazarus & Folkman's stress coping theory using a Likert scale model measurement of 63 items. The results showed that the stress coping profile of grade X students at SMA Pasundan 2 Bandung tended to be emotionally focused coping. The design of the group guidance service implementation plan with group exercise techniques aims to develop students' stress coping both emotional focused coping and problem focused coping so that students are able to face and manage various stressful situations. For guidance and counseling teachers. expected to make a judgment first before implementing the draft group guidance service implementation plan that has been made. Future research is expected to expand the research by involving more schools and students from various levels, social, economic, and cultural backgrounds to get a more comprehensive understanding of students' stress coping.
