Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh belum terpenuhinya standar kualifikasi pendidikan guru RA yang mempengaruhi empat kompetensi guru, terutama kompetensi profesional. Ikatan Guru Raudhatul Athfal (IGRA) sebagai organisasi profesi guru RA menjadi wadah bagi para guru RA untuk meningkatkan kompetensi yang harus dimiliki seorang guru. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui startegi serta kendala yang dihadapi IGRA dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru RA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode penelitian studi kasus. Kemudian data analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis tematik. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah dua orang yaitu Kepala PC IGRA Panjalu dan Pengurus PC IGRA Panjalu yang berlokasi di Kecamatan Panjalu, Kabupaten Ciamis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat program-program IGRA yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru RA. Program ini merupakan hasil dari RAKERDA sebagai sarana perencanaan program yang menghasilkan program IGRA yaitu diantaranya workshop, pelatihan, Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG), In House Training (IHT), dan IGRA JABAR Teacher Fest (ITF). Adapun kendala yang dihadapi IGRA dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru RA ini adalah anggaran dana yang terbatas, perbedaan ide dan gagasan, dan kemampuan IT yang terbatas. This research is motivated by the unfulfilled education qualification standards for RA teachers, which influence four teacher competencies, particularly professional competence. Based on the researcher's preliminary findings, there are teachers with high school or equivalent graduates. The Raudhatul Athfal Teachers' Association (IGRA), as a professional organization for RA teachers, serves as a platform for RA teachers to enhance their competencies according to the prevailing standards. The purpose of this research is to understand IGRA's strategies in enhancing the professional competence of RA teachers through implemented programs, as well as the challenges faced by IGRA in this regard. The method employed in this research is a case study approach with a qualitative method. Thematic analysis is used for data analysis. The participants in this research are two individuals: the Head of PC IGRA Panjalu and the Management of PC IGRA Panjalu, located in Panjalu District, Ciamis Regency. The research findings reveal that IGRA has programs aimed at enhancing the professional competence of RA teachers based on results of RAKERDA, including workshops, training, Teacher Working Groups (KKG), In-House Training (IHT), and IGRA West Java Teacher Fest (ITF). The challenges faced by IGRA in enhancing the professional competence of RA teachers include limited budget funds, differing ideas and concepts, and limited IT abilities.
