Abstract

This research was undermined by the students' interest in IPAS subjects, which are still low Based on interviews with class teachers, there are still many students who are inactive and rarely ask questions about IPAS subjects, which are included in the learning interest indicators. One of the efforts that can be made is to test the effectiveness of learning media whether to see increased learning interest of students. So the purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the effectiveness of the learning media to the interests of the student. The method used is pre-experiment with one group pre-test post-test design. The total sampel in this study was 26 pupils. The data collected was obtained from the dissemination of instrumens of interest in learning. The results of this study show a significant average difference. That's proven through the Paired sampels test of 0,000 < 0.05 (taraf signifikansi). The extent of its effectiveness is demonstrated through N-Gain tests with an average N-Gain of 0.58 at the moderate criteria. Average values obtained by students before and after the treatment with a pocket medium increased by 22%. Rekommendation for teachers to make an agreement between students to avoid misunderstandings.
