Abstract

Rendahnya keterampilan kolaborasi dan kesadaran metakognitif sebagian besar siswa di Indonesia mendorong upaya untuk melakukan pembelajaran yang dapat membekalkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan kesadaran metakognitif. Salah satu upaya untuk membekalkan keterampilan kolaborasi dan kesadaran metakognitif adalah melalui Project-Based Learning (PjBL) bermuatan Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui pengaruh PjBL bermuatan SDGs terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi dan kesadaran metakognitif pada materi Perubahan Lingkungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-experiment dengan desain nonequivalent pretest-posttest control- group. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas X SMA yang terdiri dari 72 siswa ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Penelitian dilakukan pada dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen (pembelajaran menggunakan PjBL bermuatan SDGs) dan kelas kontrol (pembelajaran menggunakan Kooperatif tipe STAD). Instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner dan lembar observasi pembelajaran. Kuesioner keterampilan kolaborasi berjumlah 22 butir pernyataan. Kuesioner kesadaran metakognitif berjumlah 16 butir pernyataan modifikasi dari Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI). Lembar observasi pembelajaran disusun berdasarkan sintaks PjBL. Analisis data menggunakan Independent Sample T-Test dan Mann–Whitney U Test. Interpretasi hasil statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh PjBL bermuatan SDGs terhadap keterampilan kolaborasi dan kesadaran metakognitif. Indikator yang paling dipengaruhi oleh PjBL bermuatan SDGs adalah indikator persiapan pada keterampilan kolaborasi dan indikator perencanaan pada kesadaran metakognitif. Hasil tersebut sejalan dengan hasil observasi keterlaksanaan PjBL bermuatan SDGs dengan kategori sangat baik. Low collaboration skills and metacognitive awareness of most students in Indonesia encourage efforts to carry out learning that can provide collaboration skills and metacognitive awareness. One effort to provide collaboration skills and metacognitive awareness is through Project-Based Learning (PjBL) containing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This research aims to determine the effect of PjBL containing SDGs on collaboration skills and metacognitive awareness of Environmental Change material. The research method used a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent pretest-posttest control-group design. The research sample was class X high school students consisting of 72 students determined using a purposive sampling technique. The research was carried out in two classes, namely the experimental class (learning using PjBL containing SDGs) and the control class (learning using STAD type Cooperative). The research instruments were questionnaires and learning observation sheets. The collaboration skills questionnaire consists of 22 statement items. The metacognitive awareness questionnaire consists of 16 modified statement items from the Metacognitive Awareness Inventory (MAI). The learning observation sheet is prepared based on the PjBL syntax. Data analysis used the Independent Sample T-Test and Mann–Whitney U Test. Interpretation of statistical results shows an influence of PjBL containing SDGs on collaboration skills and metacognitive awareness. The indicators most influenced by PjBL containing SDGs are preparation indicator on collaboration skills and planning indicator on metacognitive awareness. These results are in line with the results of observations of the implementation of PjBL containing SDGs in the very good category.
