Abstract

Pendidikan IPS memiliki peran penting dalam menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas, dengan begitu Pembelajaran IPS tidak hanya dilaksanakan di sekolah formal saja melainkan juga di sekolah non-formal atau yang biasa disebut dengan Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM) yang mengusung program pendidikan kesetaraan. Tujuan penelitian ini menganalisis Pembelajaran IPS pada Multi-age Clasroom di Sekolah Murid Merdeka Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan metode studi kasus. Pengumpulan data penelitian, dilaksanakan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Adapun informan dalam penelitian ini, yakni Kepala Sekolah, dua Guru, dan Supervisor Sekolah Murid Merdeka Kota Bandung yang dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tiga tahapan, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Penelitian ini diuji keabsahannya dengan menggunakan teknik triangulasi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut diperoleh bahwa 1) Pembelajaran IPS pada multi-age classroom dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan student centered, dengan model, strategi, dan metode yang mendukung, serta sudah memperhatikan dimensi pembelajaran IPS dan memperhatikan seluruh komponen pembelajaran multi-age classroom. 2) Tantangan dan Hambatan ditemukan ditemukan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran serta dalam proses perancangan pembelajaran. 3) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS pada Multi-age classroom di sekolah murid merdeka banyak menghasilkan dampak positif yang signifikan. Disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran IPS pada multi-age classroom di Sekolah Murid Merdeka Kota Bandung sudah sesuai dengan kurikulum merdeka, dimana pembelajaran IPS tidak mengutamakan fokus pada materi yang diajarkan saja, akan tetapi juga kepada proses pembelajaran dan ketercapaian kompetensi peserta didik melalui dimensi pembelajaran IPS. Social studies education has important has an important role in producing quality human resources, so social studies learning is not only carried out in regular schools (formal) but also in non-formal schools or what is commonly called the Community Learning Activity Center (PKBM) which carries an equivalency education program. The purpose of this study is to analyze social studies learning in the Multi-age classroom at Sekolah Murid Merdeka in Bandung City. This research uses a qualitative approach, with a case study method. Research data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The informants in this study, namely the Principal, two teachers, and the supervisor of the Sekolah Murid Merdeka in Bandung City, were selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis is carried out through three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions drawing. This research was tested for validity using triangulation techniques. Based on this, it is found that 1) Social studies learning in multi-age classrooms is carried out using a student-centered approach, with models, strategies, and methods that support, and have paid attention to the dimensions of social studies learning and pay attention to all components of multi-age classroom learning. 2) Challenges and obstacles are found in the implementation of learning as well as in the learning design process. 3) The implementation of social studies learning in multi-age classrooms in independent student schools has produced significant positive impacts. It is concluded that social studies learning in a multi-age classroom at Sekolah Murid Merdeka in Bandung City is per the independent curriculum, where social studies learning does not prioritize focusing on the material being taught, but also on the learning process and the achievement of students' competencies through the dimensions of social studies learning.
