Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh kemampuan literasi finansial peserta didik masih belum cukup baik. Hal tersebut terjadi karema peserta didik kesulitan dalam memahami kebutuhan dan keinginan, peserta didik juga kesulitan membedakan fungsi uang dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media permainan Paturang dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi finansial peserta didik fase B sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksprerimen tipe one group pretest- posttest. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas IV SDN X Kota Bandung. Sampel yang terpilih adalah siswa kelas IV C SDN X Kota Bandung yang berjumlah 26 orang. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes kemampuan literasi finansial yang telah divalidasi sebelumnya. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji paired sample t-test, dan uji n-gain. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya uji paired sampel t-test dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000. Selain itu, berdasarkan hasil uji n-gain diperoleh skor 0,611504. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media permainan Paturang efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi finansial peserta didik fase B. Seberapa besar efektivitas tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil uji n-gain yang termasuk ke dalam kriteria keefektifan yang sedang. This research is based on the fact that students' financial literacy skills are still not good enough. This happens because students have difficulty understanding their needs and desires, students also have difficulty distinguishing the function of money in daily life. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the use of Paturang game media in improving the financial literacy skills of phase B students of basic school students. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experiment design type one group pretest-posttest. The population of this study is all students in grade IV SDN X Bandung City. The selected sample was 26 students in grade IV C SDN X Bandung City. Data was collected using previously validated financial literacy test instruments. The data analysis used was the normality test, paired sample t-test, and n-gain test. The results of this study showed that there was an average difference before and after treatment. This is evidenced by the paired sample t-test with a significance value of 0.000. In addition, based on the results of the n-gain test, a score of 0.611504 was obtained. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Paturang game media is effective in improving the financial literacy ability of phase B students in elementary school. How effective this is can be seen from the results of the n-gain test which is included in the moderate effectiveness criteria.
