Abstract
Fenomena abuse of power yang marak dijumpai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dijadikan sebagai topik dalam karya sastra, salah satunya film “Autobiography” karya Makbul Mubarak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan fenomena abuse of power dalam tindak tutur ilokusi dalam tuturan film “Autobiography” karya Makbul Mubarak menggunakan teori pragmatik Searle (1979) beserta fungsi dan cara pengungkapannya. Alasan mengapa dilakukannya penelitian ini karena terdapat beberapa jenis tindak tutur ilokusi yang ditemukan dalam dialog antar tokoh pada film “Autobiography” yang merepresentasikan fenomena abuse of power, dan belum ada penelitian yang membahasnya. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan berupa film “Autobiography” karya Makbul Mubarak, dan data yang digunakan berupa tuturan dalam film “Autobiography” yang tergolong tindak tutur ilokusi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode kepustakaan, simak dan catat. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis kontekstual. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan jenis tindak tutur ilokusi sebanyak 189 data yang terbagi ke dalam 5 jenis, antara lain asertif sebanyak 62 data, direktif sebanyak 101 data, komisif sebanyak 14 data, ekspresif sebanyak 9 data, dan deklaratif sebanyak 3 data. Fungsi dari tindak tutur ilokusi tersebut diklasifikasikan ke dalam 4 jenis, yakni kompetitif sebanyak 91 data, konvivial sebanyak 27 data, kolaboratif sebanyak 58 data, dan konfliktif sebanyak 13 data. Selain itu, cara pengungkapan yang terdapat dalam film tersebut, di antaranya pengungkapan langsung sebanyak 186 data dan tidak langsung sebanyak 3 data. The phenomenon of abuse of power which is often found in everyday life is used as a topic in literary works, one of which is the film "Autobiography” by Makbul Mubarak. This research aims to describe the phenomenon of abuse of power in illocutionary speech acts in film speech "Autobiography” Makbul Mubarak's work uses Searle's (1979) pragmatic theory, functions, and ways of expression. The reason why this research was conducted is because there are several types of illocutionary speech acts found in dialogue between characters in films "Autobiography” which represents the phenomenon of abuse of power, and there is no research that discusses it. This research is a qualitative research type with descriptive methods. The data source used is the film "Autobiography" by Makbul Mubarak, and the data used is in the form of speech in the film"Autobiography” which is classified as an illocutionary speech act. Data collection techniques use the library method, listening, and taking notes. The data analysis technique uses contextual analysis methods. Based on the results of the analysis, 189 data types of illocutionary speech acts were found which were divided into 5 types, including 62 data types of assertive, 101 data of directive, 14 data of commissive, 9 data of expressive, and 3 data of declarative. The function of these illocutionary speech acts is classified into 4 types, namely competitive with 91 data, convivial with 27 data, collaborative with 58 data, and conflictive with 13 data. Apart from that, the methods of disclosure contained in the film include direct disclosure of 186 data and indirect disclosure of 3 data.
