Abstract

Pendekatan saintifik meski sudah masuk dalam kurikulum namun masih banyak sekolah yang belum menerapkan secara konsisten yang dapat berdampak pada perkembangan anak salah satunya perkembangan bahasa. Bahasa merupakan alat untuk berkomunikasi dengan orang lain. Karena saat ini teknologi sudah masuk dunia pendidikan maka guru dapat memanfaatkannya sebagai media pembelajaran digital. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media digital dalam menstimulus perkembangan bahasa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre eksperimen dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design. Subjek yang terlibat sebanyak 24 anak usia 5-6 tahun. Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu sampel jenuh. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara sebelum dan sesudah penerapan pendekatan saintifik berbantuan media digital pada perkembangan bahasa anak, dengan nilai paired sample t-test sebesar 0,001<0,05. Hal tersebut diperkuat oleh nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,77 nilai tersebut masuk dalam kategori tinggi. ----- The application of the scientific approach, although it has been included in the curriculum, there are still many schools that have not implemented the scientific approach consistently, which can have an impact on children's development, one of which is children's language development. Because language plays a very important role in everyday life, namely as a tool to communicate with others. Therefore, research needs to be conducted to determine the effectiveness of the application of the scientific approach to children's language development. However, because technology has now begun to enter the world of education, teachers can use it as a digital learning medium. The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze significant differences between before and after the implementation of a scientific approach assisted by digital media in stimulating the language development of early childhood. The research method used in this study is a quantitative research method with a pre-experimental research type with a one group pretest-posttest design. The research subjects involved in this study were 24 children aged 5-6 years. The sampling technique used was a saturated sample. There are two data analyses used, namely descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics. The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference between before and after the application of a scientific approach assisted by digital media on children's language development, with a paired sample t-test value of 0.001 <0.05 with a significance level of 5%. This is reinforced by the N-Gain test value of 0.77, which is included in the high category.
