Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari permasalahan perilaku agresif yang menyebabkan belum terjalinnya empati antar sesama. Berdasarkan permasalahan diatas maka penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh signifikan dari adanya penerapan media tayangan animasi Riko The Series baik sebelum dan sesudah penerapan terhadap pengetahuan empati anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK AB. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif preeksperimen dengan desain one group pretest posttest. Sampel penelitian ini anak usia 5-6 tahun di TK AB dengan jumlah 24 anak yang terdiri dari 18 anak laki-laki dan 6 anak perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan uji statistik inferensial yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis T. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media tayangan animasi Riko The Series dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan empati anak usia 5-6 tahun. Hasil uji N-Gain sebesar 0,63 yaitu kategori sedang dan uji hipotesis T yaitu dengan hasil 0.01 yang menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh dari adanya penerapan media tayangan animasi Riko The Series terhadap pengetahuan sikap empati anak usia 5-6 tahun ----- This study is motivated by the problem of aggressive behavior which causes the absence of empathy between others. Based on the above problems, this study was conducted with the aim of knowing whether there is a significant effect of the application of Riko The Series animated media shows both before and after application on the empathy knowledge of children aged 5-6 years at AB Kindergarten. The research method used is quantitative preexperiment with a one group pretest posttest design. The sample of this study was children aged 5-6 years at TK AB with a total of 24 children consisting of 18 boys and 6 girls. Data collection techniques using observation and tests. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical tests, namely normality test, homogeneity test and T hypothesis test. The results showed that the application of Riko The Series animation media can increase the empathy knowledge of children aged 5-6 years. The results of the N-Gain test are 0.63, which is a moderate category and the T hypothesis test is with a result of 0.01 which shows that there is an effect of the application of Riko The Series animated media shows on the knowledge of empathy attitudes of children aged 5-6 years.
