Abstract
Pelafalan dianggap menjadi salah satu poin penting dalam pembelajaran bahasa Korea. Namun tidak seperti alfabet yang biasa digunakan oleh pemelajar di Indonesia, penggunaan huruf Hangul yang tidak familiar membuat pelafalan bahasa Korea menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi penutur asing. Maka dari itu, dilakukan penelitian dengan media pembelajaran berupa pemanfaatan fitur lirik lagu Korea pada aplikasi Spotify. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan pelafalan Hangul sebelum dan sesudah penerapan fitur lirik lagu Korea pada aplikasi Spotify sebagai media pembelajaran, dan keefektifan penggunaan fitur pada aplikasi tersebut dalam peningkatan kemampuan pelafalan terhadap mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Korea angkatan 2023, serta tanggapan mereka mengenai media pembelajaran tersebut. Metode kuantitatif eksperimen kuasi digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan memberikan tes berupa pretest dan posttest. Penelitian ini melibatkan 60 orang mahasiswa Pendidikan Bahasa Korea angkatan 2023 yang dibagi menjadi dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan masing�masing kelas sebanyak 30 sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen mendapat rata-rata hasil pretest sebesar 71.83 dan rata-rata hasil posttest sebesar 83.73. Sementara itu kelas kontrol mendapatkan rata-rata hasil pretest sebesar 68.23 dan rata-rata hasil posttest sebesar 70.34. Hasil nilai signifikansi uji Wilcoxon mendapat nilai sebesar <0.001 (<0.05) yang bermakna terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan dari penggunaan fitur lirik lagu Korea pada aplikasi Spotify terhadap kemampuan pelafalan mahasiswa. Hal ini sejalan dengan hasil angket yang menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar pemelajar memberikan respon positif. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa fitur lirik lagu Korea pada aplikasi Spotify efektif sebagai media pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pelafalan Hangul. However, unlike the familiar Roman alphabet, the unfamiliarity of Hangul characters poses a unique challenge for non-native speakers in mastering Korean pronunciation. To address this challenge, a study was conducted utilizing the Korean song lyrics feature on the Spotify application as a learning tool. This study aims to investigate the pronunciation ability of Korean Education students before and after implementing the Spotify Korean song lyrics feature as a learning tool, the effectiveness of using this feature in improving pronunciation skills, and the students' perceptions of this learning tool. A quasi-experimental quantitative method was employed, involving a pretest and posttest. The study involved 60 Korean Education students from the year of 2023, divided into two classes: an experimental class (n=30) and a control class (n=30). The results showed that the experimental class obtained an average pretest score of 71.83 and an average posttest score of 83.73. Meanwhile, the control class obtained an average pretest score of 68.23 and an average posttest score of 70.34. The significance value of the Wilcoxon test was <0.001(<0.05), indicating a significant difference in pronunciation ability between the experimental class and the control class due to the use of the Spotify Korean song lyrics feature. This aligns with the questionnaire results, which show that the majority of learners respond positively. This study concludes that the Spotify Korean song lyrics feature can be a beneficial learning tool for improving Hangul pronunciation skills. Keywords: Hangul pronunciation, Korean language learning, Korean song lyrics, Spotify app 한국어 교육에서 발음은 매우 중요한 요소로 간주되었다. 그러나 인도네시아인 학습자와 달리, 익숙한 알파벳과 낯선 한글 문자는 외국인에게 한글의 발음을 완벽하게 익히는 데 어려운 도전이었다. 본 연구는 2023 학년도 한국어 교육과 학생들을 대상으로 스포티파이의 한국어 노래 가사 기능을 활용 학습 매체가 발음 능력 향상에 효과적인지 검증하고, 학습 전후 한글의 발음 능력 변화를 측정하며, 학습자들의 반응을 분석하는 데 목적을 두었다. 본 연구는 양적 연구 방법을 사용하여 사전 사후 설계의 준 실험적 연구로 진행되었다. 충 60 명의 2023 학년도 학생들이 연구에 참여하며, 실험반과 통제반으로 나누어 각 반 30 명씩 배정되었다. 연구 결과를 보면 실험반의 사전 검사 평균 점수는 71.83 점, 사후 검사 평균 점수는 83.73 점으로 나타났고 통제반의 사전 검사 평균 점수는 68.23 점, 사후 검사 평균 점수는 70.34 점으로 나타났다. Wilcoxon 검정의 값은 <0.001 (<0.05)로 스포티파이의 한국어 노래 가사 기능 사용으로 인해 실험반과 통제반 간의 한글의 발음 능력에 유의미한 차이가 보여주었다. 또한 설문조사 결과는 대부분의 학습자가 긍정적인 반응을 얻었다. 이 연구를 통해 스포티파이의 한국어 노래 가사 기능은 한글의 발음 능력 향상을 위한 학습 매체로서 효과적이라는 결론을 얻을 수 있다. 키워드: 노래 가사, 스포티파이, 학습 매체, 한국어 학습, 한글의 발음
