Abstract

Banyaknya kejahatan kekerasan yang terjadi di Indonesia merupakan alasan dibalik menurunnya pendidikan karakter saat ini. Kurangnya pendidikan karakter yang ditanamkan kepada anak-anak sejak usia dini merupakan penyebab utama dari kejahatan kekerasan ini terjadi. Salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan oleh orang tua dan pendidik dalam penanaman nilai pendidikan karakter pada anak yaitu melalui tayangan film animasi yang tepat. Film animasi yang dimaksud yakni film yang mengandung nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter didalamnya, sehingga anak dapat menirukan nilai tersebut. Oleh karena itu, para orang tua dan pendidik harus selektif dalam memilih film animasi yang akan diberikan pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang muncul dalam film New Series “Rarra”. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode analisis konten, serta subjek penelitian yaitu film New Series “Rarra” pada episode Maaf part 1 dan part 2 serta para responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu dalam film New Series “Rarra” ditemukan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter sebanyak 17 nilai yang meliputi nilai religius, jujur, toleransi, disiplin, kerja keras, kreatif, mandiri, demokratis, rasa ingin tahu, cinta tanah air, menghargai prestasi, bersahabat/komunikatif, cinta damai, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, peduli sosial, dan tanggung jawab. Nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter tersebut muncul dalam episode Maaf part 1 dan part 2 melalui interaksi berupa adegan dan dialog antar tokoh. ----- The number of violent crimes that occur in Indonesia is the reason behind the decline of character education today. The lack of character education instilled in children from an early age is the main cause of these violent crimes. One of the efforts that can be made by parents and educators in instilling the value of character education in children is through proper animation films. The animated film in question is a film that contains character education values in it, so that children can imitate these values. Therefore, parents and educators must be selective in choosing animated films that will be given to early childhood. This study aims to determine the description of character education values that appear in the New Series film ‘Rarra’. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative research with the content analysis method, and the research subject is the New Series film ‘Rarra’ in the Sorry episode part 1 and part 2 and the respondents. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results obtained are that in the New Series film "Rarra" 17 character education values were found, including religious values, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creativity, independence, democracy, curiosity, love for the country, respect for achievement, friendly/communicative, peace-loving, fond of reading, environmental care, social care, and responsibility. These character education values appear in Sorry episode part 1 and part 2 through interactions in the form of scenes and dialogue between characters.
