Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan dalam proses pembelajaran peserta didik di sekolah dasar, yaitu rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Berdasarkan observasi dan wawancara, faktor penyebab permasalahan tersebut diantaranya yaitu peserta didik masih mengalami kesulitan dalam memahami dan menguasai materi pembelajaran, kemudian pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila khususnya pada materi pengamalan nilai-nilai Pancasila, hal ini terjadi karena guru belum menggunakan media yang membuat pembelajaran menjadi bermakna yang dimana bisa membuat peserta didik memahami dan menguasai materi pembelajaran sehingga bisa mendeskripsikannya ke dalam sebuah kalimat. Sehingga diperlukan perbaikan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Salah satu media pembelajaran yang dapat digunakan guru dalam mendukung kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Adapun media yang dapat digunakan ialah media pembelajaran activity book bernama Saktiku (Pancasilaku Aktivitasku). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media Saktiku terhadap pemahaman peserta didik pada materi pengamalan nilai Pancasila fase B sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-experimental design One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 32 peserta didik fase B kelas IV sekolah dasar. Instrumen penelitian tes menggunakan soal uraian dengan indikator kemampuan pemahaman konsep yaitu meliputi indikator menyatakan ulang sebuah konsep, mengklasifikasikan objek sesuai konsepnya, memberi contoh dan non-contoh dari suatu konsep, dan indikator menyajikan konsep dalam berbagai bentuk representasi yang berjumlah 10 soal pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya perbedaan rata-rata yang signifikan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan uji paired sample t-test dengan nilai signifikansi (0,000) yang berarti hipotesis H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Saktiku (Pancasilaku Aktivitasku) atau media activity book berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Pancasila fase B sekolah dasar. This research was motivated by problems in the learning process of students in elementary schools, namely the low ability of students to understand concepts. Based on observations and interviews, the factors causing these problems include students still experiencing difficulties in understanding and mastering the learning material, then in learning Pancasila education, especially in the material of implementing Pancasila values, this happens because teachers have not used media that makes learning meaningful. which can make students understand and master the learning material so they can describe it in a sentence. So, improvements are needed to overcome this problem. One of the learning media that teachers can use to support students' ability to understand concepts is the activity book learning media called Saktiku (My Pancasila, My Activity). This research aims to determine the effect of using Saktiku media on students' understanding of the material for implementing Pancasila values in phase B in elementary school. This research uses the pre-experimental design method One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research subjects were 32 phase B students in class IV elementary school. The test research instrument uses description questions with indicators of the ability to understand concepts, namely including indicators of restating a concept, classifying objects according to the concept, giving examples and non-examples of a concept, and indicators of presenting concepts in various forms of representation totaling 10 pre-test questions and post-test. The results of this study show that there is a significant difference in averages. This is proven by the paired sample t-test with a significance value of (0.000), which means the hypothesis H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So, it can be concluded that the use of Saktiku media (Pancasilaku Activitiesku) or activity book media influences students' ability to understand concepts in the Pancasila Education phase B elementary school subjects.
