Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini dilakukan karena pemahaman kesiapsiagaan bencana siswa sekolah dasar masih terbilang rendah. Kemudian, kurangnya media pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) yang mengintegrasikan materi kesiapsiagaan bencana dalam pembelajarannya untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut dengan mengembangkan desain Multimedia Interaktif yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman kesiapsiagaan bencana siswa dalam mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS). Selain itu, penelitian ini mendeskripsikan desain pengembangan, hasil pengembangan, dan hasil uji coba Multimedia Interaktif dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS). Multimedia Interaktif dikembangkan menggunakan metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan model penelitian PPE yang dikembangkan oleh Rickey dan Klean melalui 3 tahap yaitu perencanaan, produksi, dan evaluasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah pengisian worklog, tes, dan validasi (angket) yang dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitaif. Penelitian ini menghasilkan multimedia Interaktif tentang perubahan kondisi alam yang diintegrasikan dengan kesiapsiagaan bencana. Bencana alam yang termuat dalam multimedia interaktif ini, yaitu gempa bumi, gunung meletus, longsor, dan banjir. Dalam proses pengembanganya, multimedia interaktif ini melalui satu kali proses validasi dan revisi berdasarkan masukan yang telah diberikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas multimedia Interaktif. Multimedia Interaktif yang dikembangkan mendapatkan hasil persentase 96,075% dengan kategori sangat layak digunakan berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media. This developmental research was carried out because the understanding of disaster preparedness in elementary school students was still low. Later, the lack of the learning media of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) integrated disaster readiness material into its education for elementary school students. The study aims to solve the problem by developing an Interactive Multimedia Design that can enhance students' understanding of disaster preparedness in the Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) subjects. Furthermore, the study describes the design of development, development results, and interactive multimedia test results in the learning of natural and social sciences. (IPAS). Interactive Multimedia was developed using the Design and Development (D&D) methodology with the PPE research model developed by Rickey and Klean through three stages of planning, production, and evaluation. The data collection techniques used work log filling, testing, and validation (angle) that are qualitatively and quantitatively analyzed. This research produces interactive multimedia on changing natural conditions that are integrated with disaster preparedness. Natural disasters are loaded in this interactive multimedia, namely earthquakes, mountain eruptions, spills, and floods. In the development process, this interactive multimedia goes through a one-time process of validation and revision based on input that has been given to improve the quality of Interactive multimedia. The Interactive Multimedia developed obtained a 96,075% percentage result with the category of highly worthy use based on the results of validation by material experts and media experts.
