Abstract
Persepsi yang terbangun pustakawan dinilai kurang kompeten dalam menjalankan kinerjanya untuk memberikan layanan prima. Selain kompetensi, kinerja dapat dipengaruhi hal lain, salah satunya adalah etika profesi. Layanan prima menjadi ujung tombak dalam kinerja pustakawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat presepsi pustakawan bahwasannya kompetensi dan etika profesi dapat berpengaruh pada kinerja pustakawan perguruan tinggi, dimana kinerja pustakawan adalah memberikan layanan prima. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode cluster sampling. Data diperoleh melalui metode survei dengan teknik penyebaran kuisioner. Responden pada penelitian ini merupakan pustakwan di Perpustakaan perguruan tinggi negeri kota bandung, diantaranya Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, Universitas Islam Negri Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, dan Institut teknologi Bandung, responden berjumlah 30 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan regulasi pada variabel kompetensi, ditandai dengan SKKNI No. 236 Tahun 2019 dan Kode Etik pustakawan Asta etika pustakawan yang berada pada anggaran dasar ikatan pustakawan Indonesia. Hasil analisis regresi linier berganda menunjukan bahwasannya variasi variabel kinerja pustakawan dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel kompetensi dam etika profesi sebesar 34 %. Dari hasil pengujian yang diperoleh nilai f hitung sebesar 0,724. Hal ini berarti f hitung f hitung 0,724 < nilai f 6.959 > 3,34 hal tersebut bahwa diterima berarti terdapat pengaruh komptensi dan etika profesi secara bersamaan terhadap kinerja Nilai seginifikansi Kompetensi terhadap Kinerja pustakawan adalah 0,002< 0,05 dan nilai t hitung < nilai t-tabel terdapat pengaruh sedangkan nilai seginifikansi Kompetensi terhadap Kinerja pustakawan adalah 0,36>0,05dan nilai t hitung < nilai t-tabel maka nol diterima h1 ditolak yang artinya tidak terdapat pengaruh Perception is that librarians are considered less competent in carrying out their performance to provide excellent service. Apart from competence, performance can be influenced by other things, one of which is professional ethics. Excellent service is the spearhead of librarian performance. This research aims to look at librarians' perceptions that professional competence and ethics can influence the performance of higher education librarians, where the librarian's performance is to provide excellent service. Sampling used the cluster sampling method. Data was obtained through a survey method with questionnaire distribution techniques. Respondents in this study were librarians at state university libraries in the city of Bandung, including the Indonesian Education University, Sunan Gunung Djati State Islamic University Bandung, and the Bandung Institute of Technology, totaling 30 respondents. This research uses regulations on the competency variable, marked with SKKNI No. 236 of 2019 and the Asta librarian Code of Ethics, librarian ethics which are in the articles of association of the Indonesian librarian association. The results of multiple linear regression analysis show that variations in librarian performance variables can be explained by the competency and professional ethics variables by 34%. From the test results, the calculated f value was 0.724. This means that f count f count is 0.724 < f value 6,959 > 3.34. This means that it is accepted that there is an influence of competency and professional ethics simultaneously on performance. The significance value of Competency on librarian performance is 0.002 < 0.05 and the t value < t value - table there is an influence while the significance value of Competency on librarian performance is 0.36> 0.05 and the calculated t value < t-table value then zero is accepted h1 is rejected which means there is no influence
