Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ditemukannya masalah dengan kurangnya pemahaman siswa akan hak dan kewajiban siswa di sekolah. Dengan begitu, salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan memilih model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, seperti model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi hak dan kewajiban siswa di sekolah. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen nonequivalent control group design pre-test dan post-test. Adapun populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas 3 SDN 241 Leuwianyar tahun ajaran 2023/2024 dengan teknik pengambilan sampel berupa sampling purposive. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 20 siswa kelas 3A sebagai kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray dan 20 siswa kelas 3C sebagai kelas kontrol yang tidak menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes yang telah divalidasi sebanyak 10 soal. Analisis data dilakukan berdasarkan nilai pre-test, post-test dan N-Gain yang diuji menggunakan statistik parametrik Uji T. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat pengaruh dari model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi hak dan kewajiban siswa di sekolah; (2) terdapat perbedaan peningkatan pemahaman konsep siswa pada materi hak dan kewajiban siswa di sekolah antara kelas yang menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray dan kelas yang tidak menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Two Stay Two Stray. ---------- This research is motivated by students' lack of understanding of material students' rights and obligations at school One of the efforts that can be made is to choose a learning model that can increase understanding of concepts, such as the Two Stay Two Stray type of cooperative learning model. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of implementing the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model on students' understanding of concepts in the material of student rights and obligations at school. The research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group design pre-test and post-test method. The population of this research is grade 3 students at one of the state elementary schools in Bandung City for the 2023/2024 academic year using a purposive sampling technique. The research sample consisted of 20 students of class 3A as an experimental class using the Two Stay Two Stray type of cooperative learning model and 20 students of class 3C as a control class not using the Two Stay Two Stray type of cooperative learning model. The data collection technique used a validated test of 10 questions. Data analysis was carried out based on pre-test, post-test and N-Gain scores which were tested using parametric T Test statistics. The results of this study indicate that (1) there is an influence of the Two Stay Two Stray type cooperative learning model on students' conceptual understanding of the material on students' rights and obligations at school; (2) there is a difference in the increase in students' conceptual understanding of the material on student rights and obligations at school between the students from the class which applied the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model and the students which did not apply the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model.
