Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan media, uji kelayakan media, serta respons guru dan siswa terhadap media pembelajaran PowerPoint interaktif pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia di kelas V SD. Alasan dilakukannya penelitian ini, dikarenakan kurangnya ketersediaan unsur media yang dapat mendukung kecenderungan gaya belajar siswa dalam bentuk multimedia interaktif, dan keterlibatan siswa dalam uji keterbacaan media, sehingga dilakukan penelitian pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis PowerPoint interaktif pada materi Sistem Pencernaan Manusia yang menyediakan unsur media dalam bentuk audio visual yang mendukung kecenderungan gaya belajar siswa serta keterlibatan siswa dalam uji keterbacaan pada media yang dikembangkan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan menggunakan model desain ADDIE. Penelitian ini mendapati bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis PowerPoint interaktif pada materi sistem pencernaan manusia “sangat layak” untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas, diperoleh hasil validasi dari para ahli yaitu validasi materi dengan persentase 89% validasi media memperoleh persentase 95%, dan validasi bahasa memperoleh persentase 99%, dengan akumulasi penilaian media sebesar 95,8%, dan respons positif pada siswa terkait penggunaan media, baik respons afektif, kognitif, dan psikomotorik. Implikasi pada penelitian ini yaitu adanya kemudahan siswa dalam mengakses media pembelajaran secara mandiri yang dapat mendukung kecenderungan gaya belajar siswa dengan berbagai unsur media di dalamnya, dan media dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran yang bersifat interaktif dan aplikatif dalam pembelajaran IPA di SD. ---------- This study aims to determine media development, media feasibility test, and teacher and student responses to interactive PowerPoint learning media on human digestive system material in grade V Elementary School. The reason for conducting this research is due to the lack of availability of media elements that can support student’s learning style tendencies in the form of interactive multimedia, and student involvement in media readability tests, so that interactive PowerPoint-based learning media development research on Human Digestive System material provides media elements in the form of audio visuals that support student’s learning style tendencies and student involvement in reading tests on the developed media. The method used in this research is the Design and Development (D&D) method using the ADDIE design model. This study found that interactive PowerPoint-based learning media on human digestive system material was “very feasible” to be used in the learning process in the classroom, obtained validation results from experts, namely the percentage of material validation obtained was 89%, media validation obtained a percentage of 95%, and language validation obtained a percentage of 99%, with an accumulated media assessment of 95.8%, and positive responses in students related to the use of media, both affective, cognitive, and psychomotor responses. The implication of this research is the ease of students in accessing learning media independently which can support the tendency of student’s learning styles with various media elements in it, and the media can be used as an alternative learning media that is interactive and applicable in learning science in elementary schools.
