Keterampilan abad 21 menjadi fokus utama bagi peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia di Indonesia memasuki abad 21. Keterampilan tersebut dapat dilatih di dalam pembelajaran di sekolah. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini yakni kurangnya variasi model pembelajaran yang diterapkan di dalam pembelajaran geografi, pembelajaran hanya berpusat pada guru (Teacher Center) dan kurangnya kreativitas di dalam pembelajaran geografi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kreatif peserta didik SMA kelas X dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran project based learning dan mengetahui respon ketertarikan peserta didik kepada model pembelajaran project based learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Experimental dengan desain The Pretest-Posttest Control Group. Indikator dalam penelitian ini mengacu pada 5 indikator yaitu kelancaran (Fluency), keorisinilan (Originality), keluwesan (Flexibility), elaborasi (Elaboration) dan evaluasi (Evaluation). Pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan pretest, posttest dan penilaian proyek. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji N-Gain, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji Independent T test dan uji Wilcoxon. Temuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Terdapat pengaruh pada penerapan model pembelajaran project based learning untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kreatif pada peserta didik SMA kelas X pada materi litosfer setelah dilakukan uji analisis data. (2) Respon peserta didik terhadap model pembelajaran project based learning mendapatkan respon tertarik dengan angka 79% (kategori tertarik). Rekomendasi penelitian ini yakni pelaksanaan penelitian harus lebih diperhatikan baik dari jumlah pertemuan, kelas yang di teliti, dan peneliti hanya sebagai observasi, untuk respon peserta didik yang lebih baik banyak dilakukan pembelajaran dan proyek yang lebih menarik dan menarik peserta didik dalam mempelajari geografi. These skills can be trained in learning at school. The problems in this research are the lack of variety of learning models applied in geography learning, learning only centered on the teacher (Teacher center) and the lack of creativity in geography learning. The aim of this research is to see the improvement in creative thinking skills of class The research method used in this research is experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design. The indicators in this research refer to 5 indicators, namely fluency, originality, flexibility, elaboration and evaluation. Data collection using pretest, posttest and project assessment. The data analysis techniques used are the N-Gain test, normality test, homogeneity test, Independent T test and Wilcoxon test. The findings of this research are (1) There is an influence on the application of the project based learning model to improve creative thinking skills in class X high school students on lithosphere material after conducting data analysis tests. (2) Students' responses to the project based learning model received an interesting response of 79% (interested category). The recommendation of this research is that the implementation of research should pay more attention to both the number of meetings, the classes studied, and the researcher only as an observer, for better student responses, lots of learning and projects are carried out that are more interesting and interesting for students in studying geography.
