Abstract

Reduce students' ability to think creative, always problem that keeps on looking its solution. a variety of approaches with variety and stimulation has been generated, with its advantages and disadvantages. then one of its researchers to develop learning through open ended approach. this study are located at SDN cienteung 2 population and sample 2 with 21 fifth grade students using this type of research Pree-gathering techniques exsprimental through pre-test and posttest on the broad concept of flat trapezoidal wake as the object of research with the goal after learning through open-ended approachthere is an increase in students' ability to think creatively on a broad concept of waking flat trapezoid. after statistical analysis, descriptive, N-Gain test and test welcoxson, then there is an increase in the quality of students' creative thinking ability in middle category. to test the hypothesis test welcoxson with asymp sig value of 0.00, mk obtained asymp sig value <0.05. so can simbulkan that rejected and accepted, which means there are differences in students' increased ability to think creatively on a broad concept of flat trapezoidal account after waking do learning through open ended approach. Kurangnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa selalu menjadi masalah yang terus dicari solusinya. Berbagai pendekatan dengan berbagai variasi dan rangsangan telah dihasilkan, dengan kelebihan dan kekurangannya. Maka salah satunya peneliti mengembangkan pembelajaran melalui pendekatan open-ended. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SDN Cieunteung 2 dengan populasi dan sampel 21 siswa kelas V, dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian pre-exsperimental melalui teknik pengumpulan data pre-test dan posttest pada konsep luas bangun datar trapesium sebagai objek penelitian dengan tujuan setelah pembelajaran melalui pendekatan open-ended terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada konsep luas bangun datar trapesium. Setelah dilakukan analisis statistik deskriptif, uji N-Gain dan uji wilcoxson, maka terdapat peningkatan kualitas kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa berada pada kategori sedang. Untuk uji hipotesis dilakukan uji wilcoxson dengan nilai asymp sig sebasar 0,00, maka diperoleh nilai asymp sig < 0,05. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa H_(0 )ditolak dan H_a diterima yang artinya, ada perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada konsep luas bangun datar trapesium setelah menggunakan pembelajaran melalui pendekatan open-ended. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif, konsep luas bangun datar trapesium, Pendekatan Open-ended.
