Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh minimnya variasi media stimulasi literasi kritis dan rasa percaya diri pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di sebuah TK di daerah Arcamanik, yang mengakibatkan kurangnya rasa percaya diri pada peserta didik sehingga menghambat optimalisasi stimulasi literasi kritis peserta didik dalam pembelajaran. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, peneliti melakukan pengembangan media story playbook yang memenuhi indikator pencapaian literasi kritis dan rasa percaya diri pada anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Educational Design Research model Plomp dengan melibatkan ahli materi dan media, guru, dan lima orang anak usia dini. Proses pengumpulan data dari penelitian ini meliputi observasi terbatas terhadap lima orang anak, wawancara, dan rating scale untuk memvalidasi kelayakan media story playbook. Hasil validasi instrumen memperoleh skor 26 dengan persentase sebesar 81,3% (Sangat Layak) sedangkan media memperoleh skor 40 dengan persentase sebesar 100% (Sangat Layak). Respon dari guru kelas memperoleh skor 38 dengan persentase sebesar 95% (Sangat Layak). Berdasarkan hasil observasi terbatas, penggunaan media story playbook menunjukkan perkembangan literasi kritis dan rasa percaya diri peserta didik yang menghasilkan perolehan skor rasa percaya diri 135 dengan persentase 84,4% (Sangat Baik) dan perolehan skor literasi kritis 75 dengan persentase 150% (Baik). Sehingga disimpulkan bahwa story playbook sebagai media stimulasi literasi kritis dan rasa percaya diri anak usia dini telah teruji validasi kelayakannya dan telah sesuai dengan karakteristik media pembelajaran anak usia dini serta kebutuhan guru untuk menstimulasi literasi kritis dan rasa percaya diri anak usia 5-6 tahun. ----------- This research is motivated by the lack of media variations to stimulate critical literacy and self-confidence in children aged 5-6 years in a kindergarten in the Arcamanik area, which results in a lack of self-confidence in students so that it inhibits optimizing the stimulation of students' critical literacy in learning. Based on this, the researcher developed a story playbook media that meets the indicators of achieving critical literacy and self-confidence in early childhood. This research used the Educational Design Research method by Plomp, involving material and media experts, teachers, and five young children. The process of collecting data from this research included limited observation of five children, interviews, and rating scales to validate the feasibility of story playbook. The instrument validation results obtained a score of 26 with a percentage of 81.3% (Very Eligible) while the media obtained a score of 40 with a percentage of 100% (Very Eligible). The response from the class teacher obtained a score of 38 with a percentage of 95% (Very Eligible). Based on the results of limited observations, the use of story playbook media shows the development of critical literacy and self-confidence of students which results in a self-confidence score of 135 with a percentage of 84.4% (Very Good) and a critical literacy score of 75 with a percentage of 150% (Good). In conclusion, the story playbook as a medium for stimulating critical literacy and self-confidence in early childhood has been tested for eligibility validation and is in accordance with the characteristics of early childhood learning media and the needs of teachers to stimulate critical literacy and self-confidence in children aged 5-6 years.
