Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita, sebagaimana dalam penelitian sebelumnya dan hasil tes PISA. Kemampuan ini dianggap penting bagi siswa. Penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan menggunakan media konkret diyakini dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar matematika. Di era digital ini, guru diharapkan dapat menggabungkan model pembelajaran inovatif dengan media interaktif berbasis teknologi. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Media Wordwall terhadap kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V di SDN Mekar Mukti, Kecamatan Cikarang Utara. Sampel terdiri dari siswa kelas V di SDN Mekar Mukti 01 sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan SDN Mekar Mukti 02 sebagai kelompok kontrol. Partisipan penelitian ini terdiri dari 31 siswa kelas V SDN Mekar Mukti 01 dan SDN Mekar Mukti 02. Analisis data hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika siswa setelah menerapkan model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Media Wordwall. Perbedaan signifikan juga terlihat antara peningkatan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematis siswa di kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Oleh karena itu, model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dengan Media Wordwall dapat dianggap sebagai salah satu alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menyelesaikan soal cerita matematis siswa --------------- This research was motivated by the low ability of students to solve story problems, as in previous research and the results of the PISA test. This ability is considered important for students. The application of the Problem Based Learning learning model using concrete media is believed to be able to improve mathematics learning achievement. In this digital era, teachers are expected to be able to combine innovative learning models with technology-based interactive media. Therefore, this research aims to assess the influence of the Problem Based Learning learning model with Wordwall Media on students' ability to solve mathematics story problems. The research method used is quasi-experimental. The population of this study were fifth grade students at SDN Mekar Mukti, North Cikarang District. The sample consisted of fifth grade students at SDN Mekar Mukti 01 as the experimental group and SDN Mekar Mukti 02 as the control group. The participants in this research consisted of 31 fifth grade students at SDN Mekar Mukti 01 and SDN Mekar Mukti 02. Analysis of research data showed a significant increase in students' ability to solve math story problems after implementing the Problem Based Learning model with Wordwall Media. Significant differences were also seen between the increase in students' ability to solve mathematical story problems in the experimental group and the control group. Therefore, the Problem Based Learning model using Wordwall Media can be considered as an effective alternative for improving students' ability to solve mathematical story problems.
