Abstract
Penggunaan media digital dan internet semakin meluas pasca pandemi covid-19. Saat ini penggunaannya telah sampai ke semua bidang kehidupan termasuk pendidikan. IPS menjadi salah satu mata pelajaran yang sering memanfaatkan internet sebagai sumber belajar. Maraknya penggunaan media digital dan internet menciptakan fenomena baru yang disebut dengan cyber culture. Cyber culture perlu diimbangi dengan kemampuan literasi digital yang mumpuni. Kemampuan literasi digital dapat diasah melalui aktivitas pembelajaran di kelas diantaranya penggunaan power point interaktif, proses asesmen dengan sistem CBT, serta penggunaan berbagai produk google untuk mengumpulkan tugas dan mencari sumber materi. Kemampuan literasi digital dapat membantu peserta didik untuk mendapatkan dan mengevaluasi informasi secara kritis sehingga terhindar dari informasi hoax. Maka dari itu, tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis pengaruh cyber culture dalam pembelajaran IPS terhadap kemampuan literasi digital peserta didik di SMP Negeri 50 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu peserta didik kelas 7, 8, dan 9 yang berjumlah 300 peserta didik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, uji heteroskedastisitas, uji korelasi dan uji analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) kondisi umum cyber culture dalam pembelajaran IPS di SMP Negeri 50 Bandung termasuk dalam kategori sedang, (2) kondisi umum kemampuan literasi digital peserta didik di SMP Negeri 50 Bandung termasuk dalam kategori sedang, dan (3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara cyber culture dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan kemampuan literasi digital peserta didik di SMP Negeri 50 Bandung. The use of digital media and the internet has become more widespread after the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, its use has reached all areas of life including education. Social studies is one of the subjects that often utilize the internet as a learning resource. The widespread use of digital media and the internet creates a new phenomenon called cyber culture. Cyber culture needs to be balanced with qualified digital literacy skills. Digital literacy skills can be honed through learning activities in the classroom including through the use of interactive power points, the assessment process with the CBT system, and the use of various google products to collect assignments and search for material sources. Digital literacy skills can help students to obtain and evaluate information critically so as to avoid hoax information. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of cyber culture in social studies learning on the digital literacy skills of students at SMP Negeri 50 Bandung. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational method. The samples in this study were seventh, eighth, and ninth grade students totaling 300 students.Data analysis techniques used are normality test, homogeneity test, heteroscedasticity test, correlation test and simple linear regression analysis test. The results showed that (1) the general condition of cyber culture in social studies learning at SMP Negeri 50 Bandung is included in the medium category, (2) the general condition of digital literacy skills of students at SMP Negeri 50 Bandung is included in the medium category, and (3) there is a significant influence between cyber culture in social studies learning with digital literacy skills of students at SMP Negeri 50 Bandung.
