Abstract

Pentingnya anak belajar IPS karena merupakan suatu ilmu yang berhubungan dengan lingkungan dan masyarakat social, agar siswa menjadi warga negara yang demokratis, bertanggung jawab serta cinta damai, untuk mengoptimalkan pembelajaran IPS diperlukan adanya motivasi yang kuat dari siswa yang menjadi dorongan agar terjadinya interaksi yang dapat memungkinkan untuk siswa memperoleh hasil belajar yang tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dengan penggunaan aplikasi educandy terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS siswa. Alasan pentingnya aplikasi Educandy dalam upaya meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar IPS karena Educandy Salah satu permainan yang merupakan hasil perkembangan dari teknologi digital. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksperimen semu (Quasi Experiment Design). dengan menggunakan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket motivasi, angket hasil belajar untuk penguatan, wawancara, penggunaan media aplikasi educandy serta observasi. Hasil penelitian yang didapat menunjukan bahwa motivasi belajar ketika menggunakan media pembelajaran Educandy sangatlah termotivasi dengan adanya suatu rangsangan untuk peserta didik ketika belajar,begitu pula dengan hasil belajar yang menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar merupakan suatu hasil/nilai yang diperoleh oleh peserta didik ketika sudah mengetahui ilmu yang didapat baik dari aspek psikomotor, kognitif maupun afektif, Hasil penelitian juga membuktikan bahwa pengaruh aplikasi Educandy terhadap motivasi belajar dan hasil belajar sebesar 11,4% selebihnya ditentukan oleh variabel lain. -------- Students need to learn social science because it is related to environment and the society so that the students will become citizens who are democratic, responsible, and peace-loving. To optimize social science learning, there is a need for strong motivation from the students as an encouragement so that the learning interaction allows them to achieve maximum learning outcomes. The objective of this research is to determine whether there is a significant effect of using educandy application on students' social science learning motivation and outcomes. The significance of Educandy application as an effort to increase social science learning motivation and outcomes is because Educandy is one of the game applications developed by digital technology. The research method used in this study is quasi-experimental approach (Quasi Experiment Design) using data collection instruments in the form of motivational questionnaire, learning outcomes questionnaire for strengthening, interview, educandy application media, and observation. The results of the research showed that when using Educandy, the students were highly motivated by the stimulus when learning, as well as their learning outcomes since learning outcomes are the results/scores obtained by students when they already gained the knowledge in psychomotor, cognitive, and affective domains. The result of the research also shows that the Educandy application affects the learning motivation and learning outcomes by 11.4% and the remaining is determined by other variables.
