Abstract

ABSTRAK Kondisi Pasar tradisional Jatibarang di Kecamatan Jatibarang, Indramayu dinilai sudah tidak layak karena terlihat semrawut dan lahan parkirnya sudah kehilangan fungsi aslinya ditambah lagi dengan musibah kebakaran yang merusak bangunan pasar semakin memperburuk kondisi pasar tersebut. Pemerintah kabupaten Indramayu pun berinisiatif untuk merelokasi Pasar tradisional Jatibarang ke tempat baru. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesesuaian lokasi Pasar tradisional Jatibarang yang baru dengan tiga parameter evaluasi yaitu letak lokasi pasar, aksesibilitas pasar dan jangkauan pelayanan pasar dengan menggunakan sistem Informasi Geografis. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah pendekatan deduktif dengan melihat komponen - komponen pasar tradisional terkait lokasi, aksesibilitas dan jangkauan pelayanan dan tahapan selanjutnya dianalisis kondisinya sehingga bisa diketahui apakah sudah sesuai dengan teori lokasi pasar atau tidak, dalam hal ini Sistem Informasi Geografis berperan untuk menggambarkan hasil dari kondisi pasar di lapangan. Setelah itu dilakukan tahap skoring untuk mengukur tingkat kesesuaian lokasi pasar berdasarkan ketiga parameter tersebut. Berdasakan hasil penelitian, secara umum tingkat kesesuaian lokasi pasar Jatibarang termasuk dalam kategori kurang sesuai dengan nilai kesesuaian 2,28 nilai kesesuaian tersebut merupakan hasil rata - rata nilai kesesuaian dari variabel lokasi, aksesibilitas dan jangkauan pelayanan pasar. ABSTRACT The condition of Traditional market of Jatibarang in Indramayu is not suitable anymore because of disorganize looking and the parking lot is lose its original function, the fire incident on Market building make it even worse. The Government of Indramayu Regency plans to relocate this market to new location. The goal of this research is to asses the suitability location of Traditional market based on three parameters : Site location. Accessibilty, and Service area with Geographic Information system. The approach of this research is using deductive explanation with determining the components of Traditional market of Location, accessibility,and service area and the next step is analysis of the real condition to check the parameter suitability value based on theory. Geographic information system provide the graphic result of condition in traditional market.the next step is do the scoring based on the 3 parameters to asses the suitability value of traditional market location. Based on the research result, location suitability rate of Jatibarang market is less suitable category with average suitability value 2,28.
